Peter Olenick, I wonder who will sign him this year?

I figured pro skiers were smart enough to make and manage their own money and not steal others. I guess you don't have much to lose in the occupation. A party here, a party there, who cares if it snows or not.
 
Yeah, and he likes his booze, so maybe he could get some of those Budweiser skis they are always giving away at happy hour.

Bummer for Peter, tho. I think he'll be a privateer this year, but that should motivate him to win a bunch of comps and then he'll get hooked up again.
 
I agree man. so lets fucken hate on a dude we dont even know... Most of you wont meet him or ever met him. Plesr no claims. All you are going on a rumor or hear say... So lay off, get a fucken life and talk about something that matters.

this is outta control.. ive met pete and he is a super chill guy. He cant be that bad for the sport if he traveled with the jib academy and helped teach young skiers how to better themselves. he left salomon, so what, he will do just fine, it doesnt matte what hes riding.
 
i didnt read the whole thread but all you who are just hatin on peter cause he stole a credit card are retarded. it was a mistake. a big one. but kids like me look up to skiiers that throw down. i watched yeah dude and its the first time i acutally saw him ski and i like him for how he skis. kids dont see what they do off the hill they watch him ski and want to be like him. we dont see pro skiers and what they do off the hill. sure we kno they drink smoke do what ever. but if there a good skier on the hill and not sayin shit like tanner bout skiing there awsome.respect for what they do on the hill! and for all you haters who are gonna say shit bout what i just posted fuck you.

why bag on the pros. just bc they have a pro skiing icon doesnt mean they are perfect. i know many members of newschoolers that if they went pro would def rep a bad image and fuck up. we all fuck up. its life. get real.
 
I would like to meet him, and then make a judgment. Regardless of who he signs with, the only reason I really ever think of him was his segment in X which was pretty dope. Definitely not an influence as to whose skis I will buy.

its odd, this obsession with this athlete based marketing. seems like he got sheisted by salomon, but really, why is that such a big deal? Now that he is not on salomon? To the point where there are numerous threads about it? Interesting maybe, but this shits rediculous.

Anywho, the few times ive been around pete, hes been funny as shit.
 
Lets clear some stuff up here.

First off the scandalous credit card incident u are a talking about: Peter was not alone in this, nor was it as malicious an act as some of u have made it out to be....he has formaly appologized for it and come on people hes a 23 yr old kid, people make mistakes...do u really think Pete needs to steal from people to get money?

Secondly, as far as skiing goes this isnt even an argument. He pushes the sport daily and has done so since the beginning of his career. You can try to deny this but his results in past X games as well as his extesive movie parts prove my point. Love him or hate him he is a very talented skier, and u all look petty, immature and jelouse by trying to discredit that.

And last but not least. Pete is a really good friend of mine, so i find it infuriating that a bunch of people who dont even know him are using a thread on newschooers to bash him...this is a site that was developed to keep people stoked on skiing and allow skiers (pro or not) to interact with one another...so where do u get off bashing someone u dont know just because hes better than u? straight up Pete is a good guy, he parties hard, drinks too much, acts like a retard, hits on 15 yr old girls and takes a lot of shit for the doings of his crew. Yet he still gets up and goes skiing every morning, so show him a little respect and stop dissing one of your own.

Oh and as for his choice of ski's for this yr, let the best company win.
 
Did he pick you up at a junior high dance? Hooking up with 15 year olds when you're 23 is fine, in Alabama. I am sure there will be an episode dedicated to him on Law and Order SVU in the near future.

hmm, i dunno, his shirt was off and he told himhe liked his muscles, this was not this past summer, but the summer before.
