Peter o still on his sponsor

I'll be interested to see who his sponsors are this year.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Salomon has dropped him, although his ads in Freeskier mag says otherwise.
 
except for the monster sticker, i see no reason to believe this is in fact peter olenick. thats not to say it isnt him but it certainly isnt proof he is on/off salomon
 
o i see it now, for some reason it didn't work until i middle clicked it. we will just have to wait for an article or something.
 
haha, yeah. he left a gig paying him 30-40K to look for something else....right. son, they dropped him like 3rd period french.

you don't leave a situation like that in our industry. he was the highest paid salomon athlete (yes, more than sammy and charles), and in the freeski world their aren't many better options. read the oct issue of freeskier for all of you little kids who don't believe that is no longer a part of salomon.
 
Son? he said that he left them. I didn't say that I knew what happened, I only knew what was said in the article, and that's what i repeated. so fuck you, don't try to call me out for that.

that picture is definately peter. i think he dropped smith as well if i'm not mistaken?? he was wearing giro goggles during the summer.
 
a good friend of petes told me that his skis are now painted black with the monster logo on them. still salomon skis but just painted. i had the chance to chill with pete for a few days this summer and he didnt seem to bumbed about it. he actually gave away a pair of CR pros to the camp.
 
for sure! i loved them. he snapped one of his 08 spk's and just gave them away like it was no big deal. when he probably could have gotten them warrentied....?? im not sure though.
 
i think if CR left, the rest of the team will follow.. Peter was next, then ill bet simon will leave forcing sammy and charles to scoot too.. salomon will only have Mike Douglas, and he's more about workin(non-skiing) for salomon as a product rep and designer.
 
yea wow if pete's not on salomon and sammy and charles leave they totally won't have a team! it's not like they have sicker ams than most of their pros or anything...
 
clarke, walker, symms...plus who says anyone else is leaving? who is going to pay simon more? i think salomon sucks but their team is hardly falling apart...
