Peter o dropped by salomon

Thats too bad... I always liked him as a skier. If he really did steal the credit card thought... then he should be dropped.. that will also make it very difficult for him to pick up another sponsor. It will be very difficult for a corporate suit to look past that. Hes going to have to find a smaller company probably.

I heard he got dropped because he kept on sexually harassing his team manager Jenny and she just had enough and axed him. Makes sense to me.
 
it not bullshit! he got dropped! and fischer skis have stopt making jibbing skis, so they dropped all skiiers to..

i don't know why everyone thinks this is a joke because it's not , it's legit i mean guy comes to jib academy and don't see him half the day because he's up in the bar
 
Frick dudee, that suckss hardcoree, im like sad now. The salomon team was soo dope with him, his vid segs were always soo good with humor and crap. His segs will never be forgotten.....
 
The #2 issue of freeskier gives his side of things and a vague picture of the entire situation. Still all this speculation is funny, what little gossip whores we are here on newschoolers.
 
I heard this while wandering around the other day, apparently some "higher ups" were talking about him and according to them he did, in fact, get dropped by Salomon and oddly enough the United States (as posted above). What the above post didn't include was that there was a huge bidding war between Sweden and Canada. Sweden's main argument was that they were tired of only partying one weekend a year (JOI) and having too many hot virgins. Canada on the other hand, just promised lots and lots of beer. Peter had a tough time deciding upon which country to be sponsored by, but in the end Sweden won out with Peter saying "i've already slept with all the women in BC" this hasn't been completely confirmed though because he was slurring his speech quite a bit.

I dont like peter olenick and I dontlike salomon, but just casue he fucked up and messed around with a credit card doesnt mean he should lose his main sponsor...

someone going into a Coma when they are one of the creators of a sport shouldn't validate a dropping either. (Poor C.R.). Fuck Salomon.
 
HA! whoever said that about that salomom rep girl jenny is probably right. wasn't he the one who was like "jenny i love you" in some video. if i'm right about that then thats what i'm thinking happened
 
It does always seem like he's more concerned with partying and the like more than skiing. I'm not a huge fan. He is a really good skier, but he's not an incredible innovator...aside from the whisky flip. I could definitely see him falling from the top echelon of the sport. I'm sure he'll get another big sponsor though, he's pretty damn good and high profile.

peter got dropped because salomon had a bad season in terms of sales and he was the only rider whose contract was up for renewal and they couldnt afford him. i dunno whether the ski tour credit card fiasco had anything to do with it or not.
 
probably cuz in freeskier mag he said he dropped salomon cuz they treated him like poop and was joining a low profile ski company
