ok, i mean if phrosty is only taking it for pros, its no problem, because i think they are very confident while doing 'normal' stuff so they dont need one.
but for 'us' standard skiers, who really hit the ground with our heads, its just dumb not wearing a helmet. its like in all sports, you CAN fall on your head, and smart people use helmets.
i was riding switch once, caught an edge an fell backwards on my head. damn, my head was bumming and humming for about three weeks. i wont think about what would have happened if i wasnt wearing a helmet.
take mountain-biking as an example, all pros use helmets. helmets are required on every XC,marathon,DH-competition, even on those small XC-races in participate in.
and for the look: i got a r.e.d.-helmet with dark-blue paint and those turquoise flames on the back. a hat cant be steezier than that.
