PE's

Im stuck on what twin to get, im currently on concepts but theyre beat to shit and i need a stiffer twintip, just wanted to know what the flex is like on the PE's. also i heard that the 179 lenghth actually measures a little longer, anyway, just wanna know if the flex is stiffer than most twins. im out peace

the flex on the pe is stiffer than the scratch but not as stiff as the mad trix...also the 179 is more like a 183 i'd say and then tips are really wide, much wider than the dimensions say...they are the sickest skis ever i'd grab a pair if you can

i was in the same situation...i had concepts and kicked the shit out of em and now i jus ordered the pe's, should have em soon! peace

ya, i had 165 concepts and i just picked up a pair of 179 pe's. so sick. ride real well. i was kinda wary on jumping so much between sizes but i definitely made the right decision.

well to keep it real I started being a Poser Poser. I dress and act like a poser, but i'm not really a poser. I just pose to look like a poser posing. you know just keepin it underground

yeah, they are über huge! the 179 is 2cm longer than 180cm v-pros! the tip is actually 117mm, not the claimed 112mm! they are MUCH fatter at the tip than the 113mm tip of V-pros.

the flex is really sweet. tip and tail are stiffer than concepts, yet flex very evenly. I think that they are lighter than the 180cm Scratch FS, I felt em both in a shop yesterday.

I just brought my PEs home today (so happy) but yeah they are a little stiffer than the scratches and the tips and tails feel really solid. I'm hoping to ride this weekend. I was surprised how big the tail is. I thought it was a lot like the 1080s but they are turned up a lot more. Reminds me almost of line!

That's good that they're tanks, but are they light too? I'm 5'11' 140lbs. Would the 179 be a good size for me?

REMEMBER: It's 10% equipment, and 90% rider.

i'm 5'9'' and 145 lbs and I went for the 169 cm model. i like a shorter park ski but isn't it based mainly off of your weight? also what size skis are you on now?

im the exact same size 5'10'' 140 pounds and i went for the 179's thats the right size. just mount em 3 cm forward.
