I live in ohio - me and another kid are the only ones who freeski at my school, how the hell am i supposed to know everything about skiing when the only exposure i get to it is on here and when I drive 2.5 hrs for a hill with 14 runs?

 
as long as you don't get any snow you'll be cool. jk seriously, why do you suppose they've gained teh reputation as a good all mountain ski? I'm going to go out on a limb and propose that it's because they are quite versatile and exel in a variety of conditions, up to and including powder, east coast or othewise. Sorry to be a dick some questions just bug me and I had a really shitty night at work.

no way. there fine. You could even ski something with a waist of 90mm and be sweet. Skis are getting wider and wider. U get used to it and after that there no harder to ski but much more stable.

no they wont be man....i know a few people that have PEs and i live in east coast canada...so its heli icy here. they should be fine man it doesnt matter its all the way u look at it...u could use prophets if u really wanted to if just wouldnt bethe best choice...what im saying is, is that it doesnt matter how wide they are...if u like them then there just fine...but aparently they are siick in the park, but i personally havent seen anything good come from them, exept the next years models, obtained from sending back the ski from warrenty, but its your choice....

P.E's are fine for east coast my best friend has them and we went down to whiteface this march and she found them great for the hills there as well as here in ontario

^ totally right. But for an answer Pe's are fine i rode them on the ice a couple of times last year. But those skis are so heavy.

 
i've got PE's and I ride the hella icy slopes of ontario. Their mad stiff so they can hold an edge in anything.
