PE's OR Chronics

Alright guys heres the scoop : I'm pretty much going on durability and how long the ski will last. i ski the midwest (indiana) and there is literally no pow. i ski about 50/50 park/trail. i havent heard any comments on problems with the chronics, and very few with the pe's. so what do you think? i can get them for about the same price. straight up: Public Enemy or the Chronic yo?

I'd get chronic wides if your going for a 50/50 ski, as far as durability the chronics arent one of those skis you have to worry about durability with, the edges on those things never wear down, and the bases are amazingly hard to destroy, they are quite possibally the best ski for durability you can ride in the park from what i've experienced, p.e.'s are durable as well, but the lines just seem alot more bombproof, and dont weigh nearly as much

if ur gonna do chronics, do last 04-05's or 06-07's. ive managed to get two pairs of the 05-06 to de-lam, but my friend on last years gold chronics has skiied over 50 days on them and they look like new.

I also have the gold chronics, and aside from one chip in the topsheet, the look brand new. The chip was my fault anyways cuz my skis hit together when i fell.

my friend has PE's and the top sheet is horrible. He doesn't ride that hard, and they were chipping and peeling after about 15 days on snow.

Get next years or last years. My 05/06's delaminated but they were still my favourite skis of all time.

I bought some 05/06 p-e I loved but the top sheet is not resitant for the chronics I never ride them...
