PE's or 1080's

I have a choice between 159 Public Enemies or 161 1080s. Ive already established the fact that they are both good skis for what I like to do

(freeriding). Also, should I wait for them to come on a demo day, and try 'em or take the advice of the good people at Fresh and get them before the start of the season?

I have skied my pe's 2 days and they are sooo nice. Both skis have almost same dimensions,but pe's are more stiffer so its about what you want...

 
are you heavy or light, how powerful of a skier are you, if you are either heavy or ski with power, you could outski the 1080s, but if you are light and ski like a girly man, pes are not your best choice

^^ I dunno, the 1080 (using spaceframe) can be considered a more all mtn ski, that also can excel in powder (the fat waist). The pe can be considered an all mtn ski because of the dimensions.

Basically if i were more into park i would get the Public Enemy specifically because of the beefy edges, and strong sidewall.

But for what i do, ski mainly park, some groomers, trees, and powder (cat skiing once a year). I went with the 1080's.

im kinda light (120) but Im a very aggressive skier. Last season i had the mini enemies and after about a month they were completely wrecked. I ski powder almost every 2nd weekend. Ive had people at shops tell me that Public Enemies and 1080s are both very good in park and pow, Im leaning more towards the PE's at this point but i want to learn more about both skis incase I make a shittty decision.

Last Week I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade.My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. Pes im buying some pritty soon, but what ive heard was you have to get sosme people who know what they are doing to mount on the bindings or you can fuck them up bad. get salomon S912 Bindings on them. same bindings as seth.

 
i get this feeling that seths bindings go a wee bit higher than 12... just for some reason... maybe its the cliffs

i'm pretty sure he uses marker cause marker and k2 go together, but i really don't care either way

Seth rides salomon racestock bindings, older ones I think. I'd get the PEs if I were you, but either ski is decent.

PEs all the way, but for bindings I have no need for something with a din setting higher then 12 for it will rip my knee caps right off. At FRESH they told me to look at some Salomon bindings for like 200 and they told me they were a good buy, so I think I will go with them.
