my buddy broke his leg so he could get a car. and it totally worked.

other than that, i'd say get a job and show them that you are responsible. once that happens and they think that your a good kid, drop the bomb. no way they could resist after that.

or just buy whatever you want with your own money. either way you'll end up with what you want.
