Dont really know if this should be in gear talk or here and I didn't searchbar so if this is a repost fuck you.

So if you look at the retail price of everything you own that you use when you ski what is the total amount of all your skiing related gear. Now obviously most people get gear for a lot cheaper then retail or even for free but that is just a standard that everyone can base their gear off of. Might just be a claim thread but I've always wondered how much money people spend on their ski stuff.
 
for all my skis/poles/boots/outerwear/accessories. so essentially everything I own skiing related.

retail price new of everything: ~$5,000

price I got everything for: ~$800

mind you, I've never bought a new pair of ski equipment in my life. and maybe $200 of it is from gifts.

These are all retail prices, I never pay retail for anything because I work in a ski shop so I get really good discounts, for example the arcteryx jacket was 75% off. My boots, skis, helmet, goggles, gloves were all at least halfprice. If I didn't get these deals I would not have all this stuff.

 
When it was new or at this point?

32 boots 160-170 ish? 4 years of use. Took a drill and put holes in the leather part to make them lace again. Pretty fucked though. Might ride this year on them if I don't think my knee is going to be up to much.

Capita stairmaster 350 ish? This will be year 3 on it? Got it for free because I broke the other one that I got for free because I broke the other one that I bought 4 years ago
