Permanent marker

I was fixing my beater K2’s, but I had a permanent marker close by and oh well…

So the question is, do I need some kind of clear coat to cover it, and if I do, what kind? I roughed up the surface of the skis with some sandpaper and cleaned them before drawing, if it matters.

Cool!

Yes you'll need to protect it with something. I wrote my name in tiny letters near the bindings on my skis this summer. I went for a week ski trip and went skiing yesterday for my first day of the season --6 days and you can barely see what I wrote. Also I drew on the base of one of them and that of course faded after one day. But I was expecting that to happen.

That looks sick man. You could used either clear coat or if you really want some sort of waterproofing spray
