By 'Big lines' do you mean straight lining through the half pipe? If so, the 1080 boot is a solid boot if you spend most if not all of your time in the park. If you do anything steeper or some 'big lines' as in Big Mountain there is no way in hell I would go with the 1080 boot. Maybe look into the 1080 Pro Model boot. It has a flex rating of 95 (stiffer than the 1080, but not too stiff), and is built more like a race boot.
