Perfect North

A few of us central ohioans made the trek to PNS this morning and were greeted by a very sick park, that is maintained and racked every hour / two hours. The park is super sick right now. Being as early as it is in the season, PNS is so far ahead of the game, its not even funny. 4 of the 5 ohio resorts (bmbw being one) have yet to open. For all you NSers looking to get your jib on this early in the season, head to PNS, you will not be disappointed.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to hopefully coming up sometime this winter and checking out Snowtrails, as I haven't been there in about 5 years.

Im so pumped you guys came down, and even more so that you enjoyed yourselfs. I know the park crew put in a lot of time but i think it was weel worth it. The park has been so sick so early. I also hope to come up your way this year and see whats up. I have never been.

Terman pretty much said it all. I went back to Tahoe for break, which has less snow then PNS right now, then came back and hit up PNS was holding its own with early season parks out in Tahoe. You really can't ask for more, especially for early season and in the midwest, with the jump line they have set up complimented by all the rails and boxes. The park crew was out mainaining it all day and from what I heard they are just going to continue to improve it. Props to the park crew for such an amazing set up and for anyone looking to get the best early season park in, take the treck down to PNS for sure.

we all had such a blast sunday. you guys have quite the set up right now. i only wish snowtrails had that much shit going on this early in the season. you guys have to make sure you come check out our neck of the woods later on once everything gets rolling.

Maybe i will make it there some day...College students shouldn't have to pay full price for anything....are there ANY WAYS TO GET DISCOUNTED PASSES?

^ what he said.

because im a paoli'er and i come over there everyone and a while when paoli is shit (most of the time) and its just too expensive..

For 43 bucks i would only hope that a day pass came with some suckie suckie...43 bucks WTF i think you can ski in CO for that right now...

more like 3.. haha.

although id did take us 5 hours to get down there last weekend because of 2 damn wrecks that held us up forever.

thanks for coming down.. i am glad you enjoyed it. and as far as discounted tickets.. if you plan on coming more than 6 times a season pass is worth it.. there are lots of options and if you join a club it is even cheaper.. (if you start a club there are even more options.) *not talking about a college club but a club at our resort* and if your talking about the drive from purdue its more like 2hours and 45 minutes -3 hours.. i drove it every weekend for 5 years... (prolly why it took 5 years)

^^ hey thanks...I called and talked to the customer service rep. about starting a club, and she really didnt give me any options beside planning a date and having 14 people and myself come all at once...which would be a circus trying to organize something like that for 15 people my age...

I mean its like 5 from my house, which is where ill be during the time i actually have off.

I would like to hear anything else about clubs...we started a club at the other resort i frequent, and that really worked out.

sounds like they thought you wanted like a group discount or something, a bunch of local places like schools buisineses and churches have ski "clubs" and they get discounts on passes. i recomend ust calling vertical drop ski shop in kenwood and asking them for the password for their ski club they will give it to you they give it to anybody, i used it a couple years ago. then just order your pass online and select vertical drop as your club and enter your password. hope that helps

YO how is the park...where can i get a good update?

Just got back from CO and am all BC'ed out ready for some good park...

Ill be down in a couple weeks or so maybe this weekend

2 rail lines with i think 5 rails and 6 rails, and theres 2 mini jumps up top and probably a 45 footer at the bottom you can take 60 pretty easily. It's going to get real cold here soon so we'll be able to nuke the park and we'll have even more good stuff going on.

I can't wait for PFC.... Cascade has been one let down after another this season so far. I miss the Indy guys up there... shit actually got done and the park was so sick! It's sad to see that PNS had a sicker set up at the beginning of december than we do in the middle of January.

I was down at perfect north this weekend and they had a superrrrrrr nice set up between both the rail lines and jump line. The last jump, left side (big lip) was sooo floaty and perfect (no pun intended). I was loving the pop on it. It's a lot of fun there right now, I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't been down there in a while.
