Perfect North Slopes Vs Paoli Peaks

So, I just went to college this year at the University of Kentucky. The only problem. . . where's the SNOW?! So, to get my steeze on, I picked up a season pass to Perfect North up in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. I skied Paoli Peaks in years past, so I'm unfamiliar with Perfect North COMPLETELY. I've never been there, never seen it, nothing! So, to anyone who would know, am I in for a BIG change? Or, should I just assume that skiing ANYWHERE in the mid-west will probably be "sub-par"? Also, even if you've never hit up Paoli, just say something about Perfect North. You know, just fill me in. Much appreciated, Love and Respect.

go to perfects and behold the wonders of a midwest park that ISNT subpar....actually very up to par, everyday thanks to our awesome park crew and staff

you could not have made a better purchase, PNS park is definitly over par, best hill for many many miles. ull see what i mean in a couple weeks hopefully

perfect north for sure and i can guarantee you will have a great time and an even better park to ride. once snow making temps come the park will be getting started asap for sure.

Well, any mountain in Indiana sounds huuuge and will probably take a few weeks to get fully adjusted to.
Or 30 seconds.

Oh, AWESOME! Y'all made my day! I guess climate is pretty much the same throughout Southern Indiana, so I'm assuming this place should be up and running around Mid-December? And the terrain park, it's pretty legit?

didnt hear this from me but gonna try to make snow for a possible rail jam this coming weekend and open early december and a park opening day most likely

ive been skiing paoli for years.. perfects park always better put together.. they got more demand.. more money.. more care for it

THAT's what I wanted to hear. Those were the things I was hoping Perfect North whooped up Paoli on. I dunno, I guess I just always figured Paoli could do a little more than they do. . . like, at least a base lodge or SOMEPLACE to chill at the bottom of the hill when it's cold and it's also Boy Scout ski night, so the lift lines are ridiculously long with those kids in the full body Carrhart camo suits and what not. SUPER STOKED now.

PNS is really legit. Been skiing there for years. Park is great, runs are good. Good community and on week days, no wait for the lift line.

Perfect North is the shit...So many legit people who ski there and the park has a super chill vibe..Also the park is alright...45 foot jumps and epic rail lines...whatever...I'll stick the super hard tree runs.

Peep the movie link in my sig for some footage of the park.
And Perfects is legit, everybody knows everybody. Prepare to learn more this year than you ever have in a year.

pnorth is the best park ive been to in the midwest and ill sure miss the chill atmosphere around the park.

perfects has a vibe like none other and as far as indiana goes its a good place to ski been goin up there for years and still love the place. the parks great too park crew really does their job out there

Instead of starting a new thread, I just thought I'd revive this one and remind everyone that PERFECT NORTH OPENS TOMORROW AT NOON! And let me tell y'all, I cannot WAIT to get jibtastic! +K for all Jibulant Members for simply being associated with the SLOPES!

Perfect North is the best hill ever. I've been skiing at primarily PC for the last 4 years, and when I think back on my best, most fun days on snow they're at PNS. place is the illest.

See ya there over Christmas break.

Let's just hope that it isn't thunderstorms and 50 mph wind gusts like they're forecasting, because then they can't run the lifts and we'll have to wait another day...

YEAAAAAA tomorrow is the day!!!!

So pumped to see everyone again, meet all you new people and start on the new movie! Gonna be such a sick year!

Word. Forcast isn't lookin to good for tonight and tomorrow. Better for me though. If they move it back to friday I can make opening day (cast comes off thursday night).

Please go shove a knife into your nose in hopes that it might scramble your brain a little bit and than maybe you won't be able to read anymore and will stop being such a fucking douche.

Ooooooooo SNAP!

next time y'all are in indiana check out paoli peaks.
17 trails, 4 of them i think are pros (black diamonds), snowboard park, they have a thing called the 'big air'. in the terrain park, they got a huge, huge jump
