they are lookin at thursday i think. the way it looks now, that just might happen. they didnt stop making snow all day today and will prob be the same for tom.
 
Things are looking good for a Thursday opening. Probably 9:30am. We are making tons of snow right now because its in the lower teens, so everywhere that we are making snow should be more than skiable.

snow has been made for about 2 days straight now i believe, so thursday is looking real good right now. sadly i have a class on friday so i'll be missing my first opening day in a while.

last year 2 of the smaller rails were set up on opening day, if we're lucky we'll hopefully get something similar this year.
 
lower indiana is so much better than upper. the first time it snowed that i saw was last night when i was running, and i could count the flakes on my fingers. terrible.

They announced that Thursday is projected opening day. I'd assume they'll make that final in the next couple days.
 
Do you know whats looking to be open? All of chair 3 im guessing without deception bc thats always the last one open on that side.
 
it was some tight shit, great day thanks to all the hardwork they put into it. but they had a kink rail, then a 10' flat, then 30' box(i love that thing so great)
 
For those who haven't made it out yet, last night it was only like 8º and the snow is super soft, i got to make first tracks this morning at like 7:00am and its like skiing sort of pow. Your skis dig in a few inches every turn and it just feels sweet, super smooth. If it stays cold then it should be pretty awesome all day. If it warms up then i don't know what to expect but we're crankin' some snow right now and we should be able to get something going in the park within the next few weeks for sure i think.

anyone instruct there? my roommate and i are at miami university in oxford, ohio and are looking at getting instructing jobs there so we can ski for free
 
I used to but it sucks badly. You have to show up to this spot every hour, and stand there for like 30 mins prolly just to see if its your turn to get a lesson, and if no then you get to go ski prolly two runs then you have to be back at the spot its deff not worth it except for the 50 percent off food thats real nice
 
i was there thursday morning shralping around mostly on that front run with the headwalls. nothing was setup but thats sick anyways they have some shit up.

probably. it's just a matter of them not having enough time to do it right now i'd imagine, and probably need some more snow as well.
 
i didnt go for the first time this weekend today but on the webcam it looked like they had some sort of jump near the top. bc id see a kid then disappear then show aup again going a lil faster)someone correct me if im wrong. but jam sessions had a few small jumps on sat
 
they've got one jump up right now and a bunch of guys sessioning a rail or two. but the snow was amazing this morning. its gonna be really sticky from now on until next week cuz of the temp.
