Straight from the front page of perfectnorth.com,

We will open on Wednesday, November 26 from noon - 9:30pm for skiing and snowboarding. (The tubing park will not be open.) We are offering several "specials" to kick off the 29th season! Check out all the exciting details here.

So yea, that's pretty awesome, word to come if there will be stuff up in the park or not, but I would have to think we'll try our best to throw some rails out there.

It's Here!

did you also read what was on the ceiling?

I love perfect north and think they do some crazy shit, but 15 is a lot..

The park is done... 18 hours later, but done.

From the top

Double kink Down-Flat-Down Next to Decending Water Pipe

Decending 36' Round Rail Next to 30' Box with gap on

C-Rail Next to Smaller Round Handrail

Then there is a kinda cool little butter pad/ jibby thingy at the bottom.

it has a small jumpy thing on the skier's right then a butter thingy meant for like Handdrags and what not, then a pretty tall barrel bonk, then another butter pad area, and then the Tower Box up ontop of a little pedistal thingy so it is elevated...

You should all come out and rip the park!

Tad

park was real sick, pumped you guys worked all night (ya I checked at 5 am and saw you moving the pipe up the hill) but please but the pipe higher in the air, its a good rail but no one was hitting it because it was so low to the ground.. plus there wasnt a lip?

no lip needed set up like that on purpose and to set it up higher there would need to be some modifications made to it

I know it has to be low, I knew it was going to be low when I saw it sitting in the parking lot, but would you guys at least dig around the middle part where the legs aren't buried? I saw a total of 4 people hit it wednesday and they were all snowboarders who were doing 50/50s..

ya I did also notice that in the parking lot, the center was touching the pavement.. this rail could be a hell of a rail and I just want to see this rail reach its full potential.

Dude, its opening week. Its kinda hard to to have everything at "full potential". Once we get some more snow, you will see some cool things come of that rail i promise you.

I know and I wasnt complaining.. Im just putting out my ideas now while things are still getting set up.

Whats currently being charged there...as of this coming sat? I could only hope not the astronomical amount of the regular season....

They have been charging $29, but I don't know when that will end and regular season prices will come into effect. I'm sure you can find all that info on perfectnorth.com

Also, be on the lookout for a new park set up in the next few days.

i hit it up yesterday.

i didnt think that the opening set up was too bad.

good stuff right there, sticky metal tho. sad stuff....

$29 bucks is good till dec 4th

If your looking to do some early season jibbing by all means come down. I dont know the price but i promise you it is worth it. The park is so sick how it is, but by the weekend it should be amazing. Well worth the price of a ticket.

thinking about making the trip sometime next week once my finals are over. shit will probably be pretty well set up after this cold weekend we have ahead of us.

We're doing a park rebuild tomorrow night, so it should be pretty good. Switching up rails a little bit and possibly adding a jump or two. I'm sure one of us will add an update when we finish up.

Definitely thinking about making the trip this weekend. Sounds pretty sick. how are the other runs holding up after this last weather cycle?

All the other runs are good. The only runs not open right now are the tree runs on the orange chair and they probably only need 1 or 2 more nights of snowmaking, and with tonight getting down to 17 here, there should be some quality snow made all over.

I'll try my best to get on here and let you guys know what we switch up in the park tonight, but I have to work in the morning so if it's too late I might just pass out.

Yea, me and a buddy from my home town will be there on Sun...Sunday in the park anyone? 40'er nice...you claim it will be there or it will be there and your going to get it all...lol first year ever skiing they had the buck fifty at Keystone...needless to say wasn't able to get it all haha..they have/had a 60' at bittersweet...haven't seen it in awhile...actually haven't seen it since i started skiing

Hope to see some smiling NS faces on Sun!

Parks a little small right now. We've got a 20-ish foot jump, and 2 rails, 36 foot round barrel rail and the 30 foot flat box. Hopefully some more stuff will get put in tonight. We ran into some complications last night, which explains the lack of rails at the moment, but not to worry, things will get sicker very soon.

We have added three more rails amd a really nice jump. The park is pretty sick right now i think. not a whole lot on it but, the features in it are sick.
