Perfect North Big Air and Rail Jam

This Saturday, February 7th...it's going down. I'm gonna paste what tad posted on the freezing point forum, it's got all the info concerning times and cool stuff

all event registration will begin at 3 o'clock... the rail contest will begin at 4:30 i think and will go to around 6ish... then a band will play and then the am. big air will start and then a band and then the pros.... and then a band to party out to.... and then awards... times are kinda all up in the air if all goes ok and stuff like that....

The set up for some of this stuff will be really really cool i think... Tom has huge huge plans for the jump i mean we are talkin' like a 3 story landing huge....

the band is supposed to play on the back of the snowcats maybe.... we are going to have scaffolding for the judges and the announcer and we are going to have instant replays on the go.... But we have a lot to work on.... and we are going to try and have the triple kink and c box done for the rail contest........

SO EVERYONE BRING ALL THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW AND TELL THEM TO COME OUT.... This is the KICK off event of

MWX and i think that if we blow it out of the water we can really get some stuff going round these here parts....

OH yeah and 97.3 is supposed to maybe come out too but they aren't sure yet.... now we just have to hope that the weather cooperates and they don't wreck again.....

is there ganna be 2 sized jumps? like one for pros and one for am's. I don't think i would do anything off anything much bigger than the biggest one they have now

they will probably have 2 different lips again, i'm not sure, but that would be my guess, and it might be a bit bigger...

I thinking I'm doing the rail comp again, all of you guys should come down it's gonna be really good, one of Perfects biggest comps this year.

we're all gonna be coming down, at least i hope. that sounds like such a sweet atmosphere, and a great comp. i hope i can get everyone to come.

There will be two sized lips.... TOm said one about 25 and the other about 50. Only the Pro divison can hit the 50 footer, so the Am's gotta hit the 25 and thats it.....But the Pro can hit both..(anybody understand that)? well, there should be like instant replays projected on sumtihn... its gonna be a good time.

25 eh...sounds interesting...not humongous, but big enough for some good stuff to go down...

Crap, thats a big gap between sizes. The 25 footer is a bit small, and 50 feet is huge. Is that much smaller than the biggest one they have now, thats purfect

sweeet, i hope the jumps dont have massive lips but just flow you off the jump...how big do you think the snowtrails hit was??

 
i hope its exactly like snow trails hit, cept like 10-15 feet bigger. i think the snowtrails hit was like 45-50. the locals called it '60' but i don't think it was anywhere near that.

The jump sizes are yet to be determind but will be large i think... as of right now the big jump in our park is around 30 to 40 feet i would guess and the little hit is probably 25ish.... the big hit for the comp will most likely be no less than 50 and the small one will probably be around 30 or so but you will be able to take a 30 footer to about 60 feet with the amont of landing we will have and you will probably be able to take the 50 footer to about 80 or so..... we'll see

So anyways the comp will be huge if not Gianormous.... but yeah so we are getting the Triple Kink done hopefully in time and it will be killer and the set up sounds like a really good time at least the bands are Denial and Scallywagon so they are good and it should rock but you all have to come still.....

the lip is only about 6 feet above the deck, which we kinda guessed to be about 30-35 feet, and the am lip hasn't been built yet

I realy really hope it sucks, so I feeel better.

BUt I know it won't , so I hope it's sick for all of you.

It was ok. The jump looked sooooooo awesome, but u couldn't get enough speed, barely. the rail comp was pretty fun. The new tripple kink is soooooo hard.!!!!
