I am a fucking senior in high school and my mom wont let me drive up to go skiing (atleast for the first bit of ther season)

my mom is like 'you need expewrience when the road is icy and some asshole in an suv zooms by you going 60.' i jsut dont see what i would need experience for. i mean what are you gonna do? i know what to do to recover from a skid. you jsut cant prepair for EVERY pissibility

the thing that pisses me off the most is when I mentioned that you can get a road report and look at the wether and if its not snowy, then i can drive but if it is then i cant. but she didnt like that becuase sometimes the weather is wrong. i mean shit, they might be wrong about HOW MUCH it would snow but they arnt gonna be wrong about weather it will snow or not....

how long have you been driving? driving in the snow and ice is the kind of thing that you just have to do to get the hang of it, but once you do, its super fun. e brake turns and donuts.

my mom was like that for awhile cause our mtn? is like 1 1/2 hours awaym, so she didn't like us driving that far

Well, my mom is like you cant drivew the hour up the dangerous and icy canyon to big sky, but u can drive the 15 mins to the local hill, so its cool, because i see her point, tons of ppl get killed in the canyon each year, so i dont really care. Dude, you are 18, start taking control of your life.

 
yeah seriosuly your 18 stop being such a pussy. when i was 16 I told my parents I was going night skiing and wanted to use the car with 4WD and they told me its dangerous and that I should take it slow and get used to driving in snow. long story short just fucking do it thats the only way you'll get to ski and learn to drive in the snow

Yea my hills 40 mins away and i have been makin the trip 3-6 days a week since i got my licnece 4 years ago so tell her she is fuckin nuts and u have to do it!!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

hahah.. just tell her that you just have to heng of it.. like ur never gonna learn it if ur mommy wont let you.. its great fun to turn the 4wd off and bust some great spins on rear wheel drive(especially if u have slick tires on the rear)

my mom didnt want me driving up to the ski hill, not becasue the roads were ice, but because she thought id get hurt skiing and not be able to drive home, or have to be taken to a hospital and then they would have no way of getting the car, or getting to me at a hospital. i kinda saw her point.

ahhh i luv drivin in the snow when i dont have weight in the truck i went down sum hick road sideways for like 300 yards(on purpose)i felt like a badass and not to mention the fuck load of donuts that i do....when i have my car i e brake alot but i never drive it cuz its not as fun in the snow

and too help u out on ur situation tell them ur goin ur 18 just be like bitch im goin and u cant stop me and then leave

I have a car, whoever said i didnt??? basically my mom pays for most of my insurance and if i ''just go'' i suddenly wont have any insurance. i have been driving for almost 2 years. i have had an ok amount of experience of winbter driving but not a shitload, basically becuase it jsut doesnt snow alot here in town. ya we are gonna go to a parking lot and practice and she said that i could probably go up by the time half the season is over. the reason i am so mad is becuase the only time i get to ski is the 2 or 3 times we go up to aspen during the season, and like 3 other days at A-basin and then a week of camp in whistler. i had planned to go up like every weekend this season.
