i would agree to some extent, but soem skis give more confidence. i had the elan airtwists a few years back, and had to use them for a week or two last year and it was way harder to land in powder with them, carry speed without them chattering like crazy was impossible, and landing big airs was always kinda interesting. but overall, if you dont have rediculous crappy skis, its all good
