ANOTHER THREAD'S GOTTA BE MADE YA KNOW.. HIS SHIT IN IDEA IS SO STEEZED OUT AND NATURAL. BEST SKIING PART EVER STRAIGHT UP

pep is the man. probably my favorite skier right now after watching idea, his style is soo good. not just straight steeze, and not hucked, just smooth and fun to watch.

yeah, he was good in it some amazing shit like tht cab flat9 pep roll thing. Its too bad the guy doesnt film park anymore though, he had alot to offer there in terms of creativity.

Pisses me off how pros like pep and andy write off park and claim its not legit or creative. So much to be done in park still.

i think that's a bit of an unfair comparison... not all parks are icy and hard all the time.... and if u think about it parks everything is allready built you just show up ride the lift and take laps. With backcountry you gotta hit the trailhead real early and sled out to your spot, at times you gotta build stuff or hike, there are also alot more risks that go with skiing in the backcountry ya know avalanches and rocks and whatnot

if you honestly think that lapping park is somehow better than hitting the backcountry, skiing untracked, and hitting booters because its easy or safe you really need to ski some pow. i mean park is cool, but once you do some real skiing you see why you never want to hit a park again.

i think it's great that pollard and pep can just have fun and do experimental stuff--they deserve it and its fun to watch. but those two skiers were by far the most exciting park riders the sport has seen. i'm not saying they should ski park anymore--but you have to admit that park skiing isn't the same without them. i almost like pep's part in happy days as much as his 1242 part, just because his park skiing is on such a different level (every trick looks original--remember the unnatural 5 or the air to fakie in the quarter pipe). also, i probably enjoy watching early footage of pollard in the park more than his footage in recent years (not to take anything away from his recent stuff, i'm just still in awe of that early footage, like his flat spin on that crazy booter-hip in the timberline backcountry.

sm3? maybe. i think it was a mack dawg shoot at timberline and he joined it. red and grey outfit. the first eric pollard pros. such a sick seg

that wasn't biased at all........

I like it all, and I really appreciate what those guys did in park before they were backcountry revolutionaries. I like what they do now alot, but I don't see the need for this "anti park" attitude everyone has. Not saying andy or pep advocate that, but you and alot of other people on here seem to.

something else as well. pretty sure it was msp. ive only seen rfa once, so

basically, anti park people, the message here is these guys have amazing style. They can make tricks look totally different and rediculously smooth. When they go to the BC, yes their tricks are still lightyears ahead of us, but because of the challenging terrain, their unique style doesnt show as much. When they can be the best park skiers in the world style-wise, the jumping in the BC takes away alot of the uniqueness. Its hard to tweak that grab jsut hwo you like it or land like you didnt leave the ground. I'm not hating on BC at all, but it would be nice to see the super clean lazy style that made pollard what he is once in a while.

pep has been my favorite skier for ever. this movie did nothing but support that. i love what he has done with skiing and i would watch all of his segments all day. His name (to me) defines freestyle skiing.

In my opinion, Pep is ranks high among the greatest all around skiers of our era, along with Pollard, Candide, Tanner, Sage and Abma. Seth also kills the mtns, and Jon kills the Park, but Pep throws down mad steeze everywhere.

How am I out of my mind, if anything you're strengthening the point I've made. andy does unnaty noseslide on the picnic bench, then right 270 on that flatbar. Guy doesn't touch a single rail in idea. why?? he obviously has something to offer in park
