so, i know he was on the list, and i saw him standing at the bottom....but why wasn't Pep in slopesteez?

because he was eliminated in the prelinary round. 20 skiers i think were in it, and only 10 went onto the finals.

Did he bail in the prelims or something? Because I would expect Pep to be in the top three.

He had a rough day he will get back to form eventually and try putting this in the other threads about pep at X

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

that sux, i missed most of the X-games cuz i built a 12 ft drop-in in my backyard and covered it with snow so i could hit my homemade 15 ft mailbox and battleship box.

 
in the fantasy freeride section at freeskier.com, once u sign in (it could be elsewhere but ive seen it there), they interviewed pep and i only skimmed it but he said something about not wanting to compete at all. maybe he is still feeling that knee problem he had last season??

 
Pep still had a bomb day yesterday even though that he didnt make the slopestyle finals. He won $10,000 dollars in a wall ride contest. So he still took care of business. and wait till his segment in war next year. IT will be BAAAAADDD!!

 
^Pep did win the wall ride at Apsen. It was rider judged. The $10,000 cash prize was split between first, second and third place finishers of both skiing and snowboarding...so pep's win was $3000. Still not bad, but def not $10,000. Mikeal D was second and Steele was third.

Pep's prelim runs sucked. I was pretty suprised. he isn't as tough in comps as he used to be. his grabs were ugly and the zero blunt was sketchy.. Too bad.

^^^Steele actually had a dope run in the prelims. Steele, Candide and Iannic all chose a different line from the other 16 athletes with different features since the judges said they wanted to see creativity. More technical with more rails. Steele skied a really good, technical run with clean airs. Judges just weren't feeling it though and gave him a score that only placed him in 7th in the first round. Unfortunately he crashed on his second run. Same with Candide and Iannic. Props to those guys for trying to add some uniqueness to the event.

 
damnt i wanted to see the new STLs in action. didnt pep not want to huck anything real big cause of his knee?

did steele iannick or candide hit the cbox, becuase they showed it in that computerized layout of the course. but they never showed it on camera

Marc Frank is sick like no other, hes so fucking gangster...hell yeah.

And as far as X goes, they say every year that they want the most creative things, but every year the people that go for creative get jacked and they usally dont show their runs. I hate X because of that, they dont show someones run unless they are big time or did really well.
