I haven't seen War but since everyone (including me) was/is so stoked on Peps return, how was it? And how/what is "Peps Great Adventure" or whatever it's called? Thanks...
 
his skiing was really good, but i hated that song in his segment, it could have been so much better with a good song.
 
Well I'm a big Mars Volta fan so it'll probably do it for me... what was the sickest part though? More opinions, and comments on what the hell Peps adventure is and what its like.
 
Peps adventure, is just a vid of what it was like to to go to europe, like them at the hotel, finding out the hard way "gasole" is french for desile, and just kinda a behind the seens look. I liked it. And peps seg was awsome, personally i would have liked more urban, but it was still sick
 
i liked the sw cork 7, cork 5, and huge 180 that he stomps the shit out of that was in the trailer...you think he fell, but then he skis out of this cloud of pow
 
I've only seen it once so I don't really remember anything specific but it was amazing I do remember that
 
some more park in it would have made it a 10 , the beginning of his segment is a huge stab at the government if u read between the lines
 
I loved his seg in war, Althought I dont think its the best of the movie and its not his best, althought its probably the seg he likes to do. Its lots of switch in BC and lots of landing switch on pow an unnatural. I loved his seg in The Scanner so much that I don't think he'll ever beat it. Great antisystem intro.
 
i didnt catch the government thing. did it have to do with the american flag thing while he was walkin across the parking lot? someone explain plz.
 
is segment was good, but his seg in 1242 was so much better. I hope Pep will be able to put together another segment like this in the near future
 
it was decent. his part in 1242 was still better even on todays standards. (for the most part)
 
not a chance. that double stager where he takes off on pretty much his back to 180...thats some rough shit. pyramid is just a jump, buffed inrun
 
that and the whole, LIES on the LA times box, the flashes of graphics from his skis, the business men stabing one another in the back. The whole him looking like he is trapped, behind the fence, all that fun jazz.
 
pep is my hero, my favorite part ever. I thourouly enjoyed the super artsy building shots in the beginning and LIES written on the LA times or something. revolutiinary for sure. but still though. whats this revolution hes talking about?
 
i liked his seg in 1242 better. but the one in war is sick too. but yeah like andy said the final shot (double stager to 180 off the second cliff) is the sicknessszszszzssss. so dope

pep carves soo hard on the unnaty 5 its orgaz. how sick am i of seeing skeirs just striaght bone off jumps and fly straight across. pretty sick.
 
Yeah really... he knows nothing about switch landings, and nothing about pyramid, and definitely nothing about both put together.
 
It was much better than his seggy in 1242. The reason that one sticks out is cuz it was the first time anyone had really seen any big 540s into powder.

In War the song is amazing, the editing is good, and he does a switch 7 into pow, a bunch of 540s and that HUGE 180 off the cliff that is probably my favorite trick of the year. Plus the switch 5 off Pyramid where he clears half the landing.

Someone wanted more park? WOW!

Best segment ever done on skis, Andy had the 2nd best one in the vid.
 
^i'll agree with you that the skiing barely edged out the skiing in 1242. but the segment itself just......isn't.......tearjerking is the word i'm looking for. the segment as a whole just doesn't give me massive hard-ons like 1242 did.
 
wasnt that whole thing about him being the fujative and all that junk and he is running and junk worked pretty well i thought just coulda done a bit more with the 3 seconds of black before the skiing but hey pep is awesome his cab 5 pyramid huge and that 180 off the cliff into deep deep pow was dope.....andy you went smaller........pussy........zero pyramid WHAT!!!!

he did have siiiiiick zeros in 1242, but he one ups himself with that 180 from the trailer that he stomps so hard sw and the snow explodes...ugh

that cork 5 is so siick to along wihtt eh sw 7 and pyramid...uuuuuuugh he sooooooo goooood
 
I've still only seen it once at the premiere in NZ, so I can't remember specific bits but his segment got the biggest cheers by far from everyone. It was sick.
