theres a video of vanular on this site where he nollie lipslides a down rail if i remember right.. i dont remember the name of the vid but if youve seen it, im sure u know what im talkin about, its the same vid with him doin an alley-oop 270 into a pipe well anyways tanner did the same kind of nollie last year in the xgames but the announcers didnt seem to catch it, and they sure as hell didnt mention it. instead they were saying that tanner lacked some technicality on the top rail, which is kind of an ignorant call.. im with pep on this one, nollies are where its at

Tanner Nollie pops a 180 in Blunt, its on a tiny jump, but its still one of my favorite shots in the movie.
 
1 footers = not coooolll. they just look like your not in control most the time and even when you do do them in control they just look stupid
 
one footers have looked good once, i forget who but in redtape there were some sick ones
 
whoa nollies are waaayyy nicer than one footers. but it's harder to make a one footer look good what makes it pretty sick when weel made tho.
 
There's a one footer in that trailer with all those asian kids in it...there was a thread about it. I think it's a 270 to one footer that looks pretty dope.
 
I think nollies and rewinds are where it's at. Nobody is doing rewinds, except for john symms in war, and there's another seg I saw this year in a flick where someone does one, I can't remember who though. I think we'll see them in bigger more technical tricks, and they just look dope. rewinds ane nollies this year.
 
Peps article was biased though. You know that pep and tanner are tight, so why the hell would he take gagniers side? Personally, I think gagnier deserved the win, and that the xgames have no clue about skiing.
 
isn't it kinda contradictory to bash one footers, based on the fact they're rollerblading influence, then turn around and completly rip skateboarding off... nollie lipslide? never mind the sports have almost no physical similarities... rollerblading on the other hand...

i think this whole thing is contradictory. you can't say rollerblading is a bad influence, if you turn around and say skateboarding lingo is better. why would it be better? skateboarding has nothing at all to do with skiing. rollerblading does. is it some kind of biased thought that skateboarding is cooler? i dunno...

Pep is saying that the judging is whack. He understands one footers are difficult, but that the more progressive trick was the nollie lipslide. The judges didn't see that.
 
just because he's a 15 year old idiot who rides for a worthless ski company, doesnt mean hes always wrong. in this case for example.
 
personally I don't like 1 footer I don't think they look soo sick I would like a nollie lip over a 1 footer any day for the moment but I don't thing that bashing on it is a good thing just wait and if it sucks it will die out eventualy. So stop the bashing and wait to see who was wrong and who was right.
