Pep did some sick shit yesterday at JOI

lemme see if i can get this right.... im guess ing that he spun in one direction with a grab only 90degres then let go of the grab and spun it back? 270. to make a 360?
 
90+270=360

900+270=1170

if it was 900 he would be landing sideways, and there were no rails at the joi
 
he would have landed switch, but you cant just call dat a 180, you gotta take absolute value. so he prolly did a little shifty one way and tehn spun 270 the other way, making 360 in all, but landing switch
 
thats pretty sick. ive always wanted to see stuff where people spin two ways in one jump. well done pep. video?
 
words can't describe how amazing it was to see him actually land that. most anyone else would have crashed hard.

I can honestly say I have never done it over a jump that big though. Kudos to Pep.
 
thats sick, did he stall the 90 for a long time and then whip an oppostie 270 right before he landed?? Cuz that would be so sick.
 
i have to see this.. i have thought about it before and how sick it would look not that i could ever do it
 
So essentially it was the one trick I've been hoping someone would do this whole season. Figures it's Pep.

Now here's the next question: why didn't it automatically beat all those hucked double flips and all that crap?

so he spun 90 and then spun the opposite way?

seems to me he went off switch, that he dumped his head so he got all corked 90 one way and like unwrapped it back 270 the other way to forward...but it seems you would have to use your arms a lot to force it back...would def. be super hard...i can picture it pretty easy tho
 
it was prolly just a shifty to one direction then spin the other way...if it was that its cool but not too hard. now if it wasnt a shifty then thats dope
 
it was a complete accident. he came off switch looking over his left shoulder, caught his tip a bit and tried to spin left, got about 90 degrees left, but because his tip had been caught it messed up his rotation, so he reverted and went 270 to the right, landing forward.

thats it.
