People's thoughts on 4frnt Deadbolts

thinking about getting a pair, was wondering what people thought...specifically about quality and "bombproofness" just looking for personal experience with these bindings. thanks in advance

I did searchbar, but didn't find info regarding quality, just questions about DIN settings WOMP!!

Ive seen a few broken pairs on here, so they sould like a pretty average binding.

i love mine to death...much better then my axial 120's by far...

seems like a pretty solid binding. friends have them and haven't had any problems with them. the only thing i don't necessarily like is their weight. definitely not the lightest binding out there or the cheapest.

i heard that they were quite heavy...true story?

heavier then z12's lighter than any px12's or any pivots...there in the middle

for the people who broke them, where abouts did they break?

from most of what i read it was the toe piece that broke in them, but it was a manufacturer defect and they got warrantied

Skiing wise I have no complaints so far, but this season will be the real test for my deadbolts. However one major drawback might be finding a shop who will/can mount them, that is a pain here.

I have seen one set with cracked toe pieces, and 2 or 3 pairs with cracked heel trackes and shattered heels. They seem like a good binding, but durrability wise they arent the best. You can do alot better with a low DIN racestock, for about the same price.

i cant stand them, find they break a lot, they are to heavey, plus it seems like they are using old tech.
