People you hate at the hill

I have a love/hate relationship with the people who are better than me at park

I like to watch them ski, but hate them because they make me feel bad at park (which I am)
 
I don't mind gapers because they know they suck and they're having a good time. I fucking hate the new breed of goombas skiing at mt snow and stratton in flylow and DPS's who absolutely suck at skiing but take themselves super seriously because they figured out what "cool" brands are. These people are skiing icy groomers and moguls on heavily rockered pow skis and struggling so hard, but at least it looks chyll in the lift line. Go back to skiing Stocklis, at least those are $1200 skis that ski well on groomers and they take up less room in the Yukon on the drive up from Connecticut
 
People who laugh at riders who they don't know who fall over whilst trying to progress. Pisses me off big time, especially if it's a gaper who's genuinely trying to get into park, like we've all been there ffs

Yeah we were all gapers at one point in time and the better skiers hated us and now that were beter we hate the new gapers its just how the cycle goes.

we called in gooning. im from a small mountain and our crew ran shit but ever now and then we would cruise down the lift line and act like we had no idea how to ride. you wouldnt believe the amount of hate we would get from people who can barely hold an edge.

I feel you, Snowbird gets some of that "my shit doesn't stink, skiing is thuper duper serious" crowd that is just fuckin annoying. I don't really mind their gear, its just their fucking demeanor, you know?

They're all either in their late 20s/early 30's or older, very pompous, entitled, always one-upping whatever you say on the chair, make sure to say their runs were better than yours and wherever you're skiing sucks, and they know where its at, get pissy whenever people pass them on cat tracks, or pass them to get to the goods quicker, do stupid childish shit like standing on the tails of your skis cuz you and your buddies didn't let them ride up as a single with you, etc.

was on the verge of ending some dudes ski day once by "Accidentally" stabbing my pole into his knee cap, people just fuckin suck sometimes, especially on ski mtns for some reason.

Is there a way to vote for two ? I don't really have a problem with anyone besides ski patrol and most of them are chill but there are a few that like to bust me for building jumps,ducking ropes but no else besides parent that let there kids go in the landing they get mad at me you know because it my fault for coming close to hitting them.

i hate the fucking 10 year old kids who think that they are really good but they suck and they act like total bad asses but they aren't and u can't beat the fuck out of them because they are 10 years old. they also get in the way and blame u for not waiting even though you called your drop before they went. There are too many of these kids at my hill and it pisses me off

With the whole hating thing on beginners, I just don't really get it. Usually I'm really happy when I'm skiing so I don't starting shit haha , just do you. Although if they're flaunting their gear and skills, they actually they deserved to get called out.
 
I'm just going to say this, I participated in a myriad of sports growing up. Now that I'm older and I look back I can tell you one thing for sure: There is more bullying in skiing then football, wrestling, or basketball.

With that said, a lot of dumb fucks on the hill.
 
Loon mtn snowboarders. Not all of them, just a handful that think they are big shots. Sure, they are good, maybe made a segment or article here or there, but they are complete asshats. From what I've heard they are probably comparable to Knife Show, but on the EC. Fucking hosers.

Seriously though, if somebody is being a douche it's nothing a nice wall or snow blasting them as they're chillin in the middle of the trail can't fix.

Or just crank up the tunes, do a hot lap or two through the park or in some pow stashes and realize you're not even mad.
 
I was up at mission ridge since it was the only mountain open in Washington in the beginning of the season and this OLD "local" dude would literally carve the whole mountain and not let anyone pass easily so i would just straightline down the very edge of the run where i was like a foot away from the trees and stuff to pass this guy this happened 2 weekends in a row and as soon as i would pass him he would scream at me as loud and obnoxious as he could telling me to slow down and i would just ride down to the little park that was set up and wait for my friends to get past him and he came down to the park and yelled at me about how i almost hit him even though i was like 10 feet away from him and i told him how he would literally take up the whole run and he told me how he was a local their for many many years and i told him maybe he should go on the begginer run if he is going to take up the whole run letting nobody pass and he told ski patrol that i was going deadly speeds almost forced him to wipeout and the ski patrol almost kicked me out since apparently they worship this old bastard almost makes me not want to go back to mission ridge...

old guy at mission ridge beginning of season carves up whole run snaking everyone/preventing people from passing

and screams at me and tells ski patrol almost get pass pulled for no reason

mission ridge sucks
