People With Hellbents Advice???

Just purchased a pair and I am gonna mount them with s914's. This bindings do come with riser plates and I was wondering if you guys ride with riser plates or not? It seems to me that it might give me a little more leverage... do any of you guys use them ?

Ive never cared for riser plates, but I only used them back in the day on atomic cr 3:10 bindings mounted on the oldschool salomon 1080 vinny dorions

i dont use them. but i have some other news.....be prepared to ride the best fucking ski ever made. your gonna cry when your ripping down pow lines cause you'll be so amazed at how awsome the skis are. its a realityskiing orgasm

it depends on the amount of rise, if it's only a few mm's then there's no point getting new screws/grinding the old ones and dealing with all that, but if it's an intense rise like a few cm's for a race binding then you want to ditch themthey might be nice on bents for getting on edge faster, but there's no real need to get on edge on bents...

You'll probably be fine. The skis are going to rock harder than binderplates affect

Personally, I can't stand riser plates. I need to feel like my boot is as close to the ski as possible.

Well, they add weight. You might like to get rid of them, because your setup is already pretty heavy.
