People that don' get NS

So, my roommate gives me shit every now and then for the amount of time I spend on this website or ithe amount of time I spend talking about it given its how I stay in touch with whats going on in the ski community. I came back to my dorm room today to see a lovely drawing on our mirror I figured i'd share it with you guys the pic is below. But, does any one else have friends that just don't get what the whole newschoolers site is all about? Feel free to share stories and what not.

SPARKNOTES: My roommate thinks newschoolers is gay and drew me a pretty picture.

I wouldn't ever bring it up with someone who has no connection to ns at all but my close friends are all on ns so it invariably comes up in casuall conversation.
 
they are actually attached to the top of my skis bud don't worry they are small as f a complete waste of a pole
 
That photo is hilarious! Im just friends with a bunch of boarders but they notice how much im on the site and i do talk about it a little bit...i get a bit of shit for it too! But i'd be stoked if someone drew that picture for me!
 
hahahaha pretty funny pic. yeah my friends make fun of me every once in a while. ^ i also have made the odd joke that only ns'ers would get... pee in her butt, rage of a freeskier, robe and wizard hat etc.
 
When i do it is usually to a girl and i say, " yeah im huge fucking dork, im a member of an online forum and ive been there for 9+ years and have nearly 9000 posts, " But then there blinded by my handsomness at all is forgiven.
 
as far as keeping up with skiing goes, i get better news from a 140-character twort on twatter than i do from the articles on here.

i'm only here for the lulz, and that photo is great.
 
ha i don't think i've ever talked about NS to someone who isn't already here...and you have a funny room mate I would have laughed so hard when I saw that on my mirror.
