Do what you want to becuz it makes u happy, why follow the cowd, be ur own leader

the only way to get stuff is pro form, so cheap. just go to nestors and have justin or kevin fit your boots or whatever real nice for u, act like your gonna buy em and they'll be extra nice to you, then walk out and go talk to a rep and get the stuff 50% off the nestors price

Its getting cold, you know what that means.

im thinking about going here more often just to here the guys entertaining bullshit. aparently skiboards just power right through powder now.

.

ha thanks miller. not to give you a hard time or anything, but when you spend two hours fitting someone with boots and gettin them all dialed in, and then they end up not buying, it sucks. it also makes it look like we are not doing our jobs of finishing off the sale. you might be able to get stuff cheaper if you know a mountain rep, but you get what you pay for with us. a mountain rep is not gonna help you when your boots dont feel as comfy as they did in the store. and pelican is right, snowlerblades are amazing in powder...

hahahahahahahaha justo, use the system to get ahead in life!

Its getting cold, you know what that means.

Screw You...I work in a shop, and if I spend 2 hours fitting someone for a boot, I EXPECT them to buy. Its happend alot this season so far cuz kids are saying 'oh, well I know so and so at the mtn, hes gonna get them for me'. I am almost going to institute a sitting fee for boots. Anything over 20 minutes and you have to pay like 20 bucks up front to get fitted. Im sick of people coming in a sitting for an hour than saying 'Well, Im not gonna buy today, I just wanted to get fit. They feel great though'

grrr

yeah it would be nice to charge people, but thats just gonna push customers away. who's going to want to pay $20 just to get fitted, and then what happens if you end up not having a boot that fits? people get pissed, want their money back, etc.

You give it back to them if you cant get a fit. And when you hit a boot that fits, then you knock it off the price of their purchase.

Im just trying to pare down the people who come in, get fit, then go and buy online or from a rep.

my local ski shop does fittings for people even when you tell them that you dont plan on buying from them, they actually encourage it, just so people get a good fit, its a really nice shop
