Doc said that if his vertabrae was fractured in a spot a little bit over he could have been paralyzed from the neck down.
He's not even loud to go for long-distance travel type things, he was going to watch his hockey team in a tournament in Prince Rupert, B.C. which is about an hour and a half away from here, but the doc said that if my dad had to hit the brakes or anything, the whiplash motion could sever his neck, paralyzing him.
SwitchPollard made some sense of this, but to the people who didn't give a shit and said bullshit comments, I hope one day something like this happens to you. I don't mean I want you to break your neck, I mean I hope you're in a position like my brother was in where you do something potentially dangerous, or you get made fun of like hell by your cocky friends.
