Peeling

so my ar5s started to peel , but its not really peeling its more or the top sheet like cracked up on the tail . its not that bad but how many other peoples skis have peeled. or are peeling?

yeah i have ar5's too, armada is sick but i think their design has quite a flaw. They try to make the sidewalls the same as most snowboards are, this results in massive gouges in your sidewalls. They need to make them more like the salomon skis, salomon has like a ski specific sidewall that is bulletproof.

once the topsheet gets fucked up it just leads to other things, like the different layers getting soggy, and your edges ripping out man. So yeah im sure he will buy new skis

I've got some cityscape AR5s that are doing that on the tip of one ski, the topsheet is just peeling up in one solid piece. I dunno, it sounds worse than it is, I'm just gonna slap on some epoxy.

yeah i've heard salomons have crappy construction. But the way there sidewalls are built, are way better then armadas sidewalls. Salomons dont chip as easy

Yeah I had the same problem on my AR5s the top sheet was peeling off at the tail, I had it glued at the shop and problem solved...... until my base started falling out.... fucking trash.
