they should just get a bunch of pros o live together for a year and film that it would be funny as fuck. have like chug, justin dorey, rory bushfield, sean pettit, josh bibby and such live to gether.
 
its pretty funny...but only because i know a bunch of the people in it. very very weird to see how different it is on camera.
You can watch the 1st episode on youtube. Its just like the hills....but about drinking, djing, having sex, and a lil skiing/ snowboarding.
Stupid drama, but i'm gonna watch only cuz i like to see dre, jason and jenn on tv. funny shit.
 
yea on in 4 minutes, looks pretty lame though. They say its life in whistler:unfiltered, but mtv will take anything and make it drama filled
 
i met enough people in whistler to know that i don't need to see most of them on my television screen. bunch of snobby pricks.

I don't even know what to say about this show... I hate MTV! its not even about the music any more man!!! what happened to the music!!!

I laughed when i saw the preview, nothing but people bullshitting... My girlfriend thinks its a good show and thinks thats how life really is. She snapped at me when I said it's GAWWWWWBAAAAAAGEEE!!

Fuck you MTV, why don't you just come to Kicking Horse and film some real drama
 
i was born and raised in whistler and i know about half the people in the show, but they hit whistler on the head.

the drama, the drinking, everything. its exactly like that for the bar stars and the people who want to live their lives like that. and that's what whistler is known for: drinking, drama, sex, drugs, partying, skiing/snowboarding, etc.

not everyone who lives in whistler is like this though. they just pulled the parts of whistler that they knew would sell and made it into reality TV, and guys, don't forget it is scripted.
 
you could totally tell it was scripted for the first episode haha.

im stoked to see a friend of mine in it.. shes roomies with one of the main people so is in it every now and again..
 
I ripped through an entire episode and saw one backflip 180 from a snowboarder. There was drinking, hockey, and sledding, but I guess they just couldn't put any actual riding in. oh well.

if they had a similiar show for skiing that would be hellllla dope
 
Pretty much. I love it though, cuz like a lot of people above, I'm friends with everyone on the show, so I think it's pretty funny. They've definitely done a great job capturing how it is at the bars for those of us are who are in that scene.

 
actually im pretty curious about this cause some people above said that it is actually like wistler life anyone who lives in whistler have any thoughts
 
I got to know the real Whistler and this show is watered down lame ass staged ass shit. Watching the show actually made me upset just how scene they try to portray it. But it is what it is and it's the Hollywood of the ski world.
3 3/4 years clean & sober since I left too, anyone see a parallel?
