Ok so I am tired of still getting shit to this day for the PC talls I made. I am gonna end this shit once and for all.

I was told early last season that PC was an accepting community of athletes, filmers, etc, just looking for more people of the same mind. I am one of the most supportive and up beat people I know so I could not have been more stoked on the idea of saying I was a part of Peace Coast.

Now this is where things went wrong I guess. They have no official team, crew, or whatever the fuck you wanna call it, all you do is simply say "oh yeh I am a part of Peace Coast", add a stupid NS sig saying you heart them, or claim something about guns drunk driving and clowns and your in.

So I was in, and stoked, rocked their baby gap sized t all pre-season and wore it happily into the regular season. The t itself is such a piece of shit quality wise, and the print job on it looks like it came from one of those wallmart iron on kits. I still have the t, it has no print on it anymore and hasn't since about 3/4ths the way through the season.

Noticing that these t's really sucked I wanted to do something more legit. I looked into all the options, t's, hoodies, beenies, baller caps, you name it. I finally settled on Tall T's because NO ONE really does custom talls.

So I mock up a design with some PC "members" and then propose the idea to Mark the founder of PC. He was mad stoked on the idea and never once told me not to move forward with it. He even proposed to sell them through the website (which I have not seen online ever), don't care to check if its live now cus I really don't give a shit about PC anymore. He was also going to help me sell locally.

I printed the t's up and made sure to get ahold of the highest quality tall t's possible. This is were I first got fucked, the company I ordered from, to save money, sent me white talls that are of the highest quality on the market and black t's that had been made super poorly with cheap fabrics.

None the less, they all came out sick. I started selling them for $25 and within a weeks time dropped the price to $10 because of people requesting it.

To print the t's it cost about $6.20 per, and the shirts themselves where about $5.60 per, get shipping in there and it brings the total per t up to about $14-15 bucks. So I was loosing money.

On top of this, my old housemate used a dummy UPS account in my name to ship well over $2000 worth of stuff and then split on me leaving me to deal with the debt collectors. I had no way to prove that he had done this, and he was not about to come clean, so I dealt with it and took another blow to the wallet.

Thinking the worst of it was over, I make sure to refund everyone who never got a t and apologize for the inconvenience caused. However that seemed to not be enough for PC.

They want blood to this day and are doing everything possible to break me down. SO I leave this for you Peace Coast, you all are the biggest farce on this site. You claim to love one another, yet will deny any affiliation with me and continue to post in just about every thread I create hating on me in some manor or another. Your cause is just like every other idea that some stoner came up with, it's a great idea but never gets anywhere.

If you intended to keep it small then you should not have told anyone they could claim they where a part of it, if you wanted it to become something, well then you prolly should consider not being douches to those who can make it happen.

Oh and to the trademark bullshit, there is NO registered or pending trademark for the name Peace Coast, so stop telling people you have it trademarked.

I was referring to those who came at me with hatred. And if your the Cam who was at Snow this season and past seasons, then yeh we have actually met, and no your not a douche.
 
sounds like a bunch of kids came up with a loosely formed idea that you apparently viewed as a concrete group and then you got screwed hard

pretty much yeh, turns out it's really just a bunch of kids with NS sigs, and the ocassional edit posted in the vids section.

SO much potential there, just no real follow through.
 
maybe you left something out but i lost you at the part where mark is responsible for you deciding to make tee shirts and no one having interest in them and then you losing money on them. i dont understand, you fucked up deal with your problems mark isn't your mom dude welcome to the real world. i have no idea what the point of this thread is what are you trying to communicate? yeah he has realized that though. and all of these peace coast kids call him out in every thread he posts in or anything he tries to do. it gets annoying to see, and i have nothing to do with it. so i can imagine it getting old. he realized he fucked up and refunded money etc., leave the guy alone.

Ok first off, I did the t's originally to help PC out, I asked Mark if it was ok that I use the PC name and such. Otherwise I woulda just done a different run of t's altogether.

Second, no interest? Every single t sold in a matter of weeks without any website or promotional help. Not sure where you got your facts but yeh...

Third, no Mark isn't my mom thanks for letting me know that though.

Forth, um... yeh your dumb, nuf said.
 
I am gonna leave the defining of Peace Coast up to those who are still involved with it. As far as I know it doesn't extend beyond kids putting peace coast in their sigs here, or the occasional edit in the vids section. Seems like most other ideas, as I said before, just kids who smoke way to much nug and don't know how to act on their ideas.

I hope to be proven wrong this coming season however.
 
not worth the registrant fees in all honesty. Few grand easy to get a Trademark. Mark should just register it and actually act on it. He could have made big strides in the industry, and made some nice cash for himself well doing so.
 
I think you could help "end it" by not talking about it anymore. no more threads about it. just let it die yaknow? people might talk shit for a while but they'll get over it. and then noone will care at all...yaknow? you just have to stop drawing attention to it. I mean this in the best way. honestly. your best bet is just to not talk about it anymore..just my thoughts

and why did you give refunds, did the tees go to shit? is that why peace coast is mad?

We need someone from peace coast who has beef to tell their side
 
the kid who posted above you is from PC, and his response was nothing. The t's did not go to shit, they are still as sick as the day they got printed.

From what I understand now yes, that is what it was it was intended to be, but then they took it bigger and made a site, promoted, made a shitty first round of t's and such. So I thought I was helping out by hooking them up with talls, and had the support of the founder so assumed it was legit that they wanted to get bigger.

Just the typical lack of organization so many start ups face. Also that one kid said they are now doing zip ups and reg t's I will believe it when I see it, but if that is the case it would kinda go against them wanting to stay small and just be a group of kids who ski, it becomes more of a company then.

me and mark (the kids who started the name peace coast) didnt even know this kid, and he claimed to have have put over 2000 dollars into 'peace coast,' and both of us thought that was RETARDED. clearly if we were not putting money into it we didnt really care that it wasnt taking off, (not that we even wanted anything to really happen with it, other than to sell a few shirts, maybe make some sweatshirts, and make some edits) so we found it retarded that this kid put all this money into it and didnt even talk to either of us about it.

and then he got mad at us for not being grateful that he did all that without talking to us.

That's a nice spin on things man. Funny how I had both of you fully supporting the idea before I even had the t's printed.

This is the exact reason I made this thread. Shit's a joke, nuf said.
 
I think what it comes down to, is that PC just got too big to fast and the guys behind it had no desire for it to become anything more then a small group of friends.

If that is the case, then they should prolly take a step back and re-think things so issues like this don't happen again.

Just my thoughts on the matter.
 
I'm not seeing the problem here. You refunded everyone, so what is the problem again? I mean, no one should be angry anymore. The only reason I could see them being angry with is if you ripped them off (which you did, you can't deny it, the black ones fell apart. Even if you didn't mean for that too happen) But like I said, you refunded everyone, so no one should be angry, you didn't rip anyone off, you corrected the situation. So in closing, I think you all need to cool your jets kiddies
 
And those were pretty dope shirts, my buddy got a white and black one, so all in all the Peace Coast should be happy if im not mistaken.....
 
I don't even have jets, I am still on prop power, but the props have been cool for a while, just figured people would like to hear the other side of the story.

come up with your own ideas and by all means, put as much money in as you want. it wasnt too easy for us to denounce what you were doing, as ridiculous as it was, when we found out about it after things were already underway.

regardless, good luck with your future endeavors...just make shirts that say something else on them next time.
 
yeh it was a mistake from the get go, but I am tired of saying sorry over and over for it to those who do not accept apologies, those people know who they are.

I wish you all the best as well, and business is going fine for me on the clothing front now, the NS t's came out sick, and the 4 runs I have going over the next month are all going really nice too. Not to mention the blanks my partners and I are having cut and sewn for us, those are gonna be sick too. If you guys ever want to print your own stuff I hold no grudges and just wanna provide shit to help the community.

Peace Coast is a sick idea and I hope you all keep up with it, whether that means staying true to it's original ideals, or taking it and growing it into the bomb ass company it could become.
 
i sucks that PC had to end this way. I skiied with all u guys pre-season at Sunday River this year and everything seemed to be good among u guys. I hope u all work it out and just keep enjoying skiing.
 
Nice contribution to the thread.

I think people are over thinking everything.. just go ski.. why do we have to brand everything. Was that not the point of peace coast?
