PE vs. TM

I'm 165, 5'10'', all around rider, ride alot of park. I love a stern strong ski, that I can really ride, but will also be easy to throw around. Whats better - 179 PE or the 175 TM?

pe are stiff, they are 30% all mountain, and youll be saving some money too. plus, you can ask lots of questions and get GOOD answers on them at the message boards on k2factoryteam.com. plus, k2's warrenty is amazing

 
yeah i had to decide between these 2. except i'm taller and skinnier than you (6' tall, 135-140 lbs.). I got the PE just because it was cheaper, since i spent so much fucking money on other shit. go either way though.

They are both amazing skis. The PEs are cheaper though.

I'm like 5'8, I tried the 175 TM's and they seemed VERY short. I'm glad I have the 179 PE's. Much better skis in my opinion.

Thanks Alot guys... two last questions:

1. Any shops around the Mass, CT, NY area where they have both the TM and PE.

2. I know demoing is always the best way, and I'm going to COC (Session C) and I'm wondering if anyone knows if I'll be able to demo those two skiis, either on mtn or at the village from a shop.

I emailed Dynastar a few weeks ago about demos this summer. They said they'd be in whistler for the first three weeks in july (pretty sure, it was written kinda weird). PE's will be at High North, I think you would be able to get a pair but HN kids take priority.

well, my PEs just came in the mail today and they are so sick. sick looking at least, haven't gotten to try them. from what i hear, the PEs are definitely better all-mountain than the TMs, and some people say that the TMs are better for park, some say the PE is better for park. Damn the PEs are sweet, i'm gonna go caress mine right now, hahaha.
