PE vs Scratch fs

Im gettin a new pair o skis, and ive narrowed it down to the PEs or the fs. i ski park, and love powder. what is a better choice

get pe's, i have scratches and they are pretty soft

ya u deffinatly don't want the fs for powder...believe me they suck and powder and since the pe's have the same 80mm nder foot i would assum that they also suck in pow..... JD is right go with the scratch bc..... solid powder ski that u can take into the park .... nice 90mm under foot too

80 of 85 aint bad for pow, but there is obviously better. and worse

-let people do what they want, ski how you want, make whoever you want your role model its your choice

PEs are 80 underfoot - it's the fujatives that are 85.

really, if you're over 150lbs. and you want to ski pow, i would nix getting either the rossis or K2s simply because they're barely adequate.

go with what JD said and get the BCs, and if you're looking for something softer, try looking around for the 03/04 seth pistols.

rossi ski is great if you are sticking more to the park. the stiffness of the pe adds to it's versitility in more freeride applications. 80mm is enough to flot, but i will agree with the BC comment. I'm stuck in Michigan and i still ski the ARV (90mm waist), and it still works fine.

im from quebec and i ski the mothership 97mm under foot and they are perfect for me...

if you like to slide rails, you want the PE's, my brother has sratches and the bases are really weak. i ride PE's and theyre barely scrathed, even with doing rails like 4-5 times a week
