PE vs. 02 Salomon 1080's

I have bought a pair of 161 solomon 1080 skis..they come with the S810 binding and have never been ridin. I am Considering working out a deal with the ski shop to trade these ski plus some old verse 7's for a new pair of Public Enemy 179's ....I'm 5'11' and I wiegh 145lbs ..should I stick with the 161. 1080's or sould i have these skis exchanged for a 169 or 179 PE? please include the size that you feel is best suited to my specs

ya but the public enemies will also be alot bigger than 179 considering that they are measured from the base

I want to sell the 161's cause I feel they are too short...I'm pretty pissed off about wasting all that money on something i can't use...do you think that it is possible that I could still get away with skiing the 161's for a bit of park as well as all mountain stuff?

Not even a question. i'm 5'10 ski on 5 year old 177 1080's and Volkl G41's 188 as my pow ski. 161 is like a snowblade for your size and in all mountain it will squirell and speed will be no good.
