I would be very interested to see how many people who buy public enemy skis listens or listened to public enemy music. I'd also like to see how many people know of their existance who have the skis. I think the results would be bummerific.

The number is gonna be really low. PEs are a very popular ski. And I sure as hell won't pick a ski solely based on the fact that it happens to have the same name as a band I like. I hope to god no one else will either.

I have PE's, but I don't listen to much rap, and I don't know any public enemy songs. At winter park, I sat next to some old guy and he saw my skis, and was so excited about them. He wanted to buy them, mostly because he loved public enemy. I can't remember very well, but I think he was on teles.

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j

To answer the quesiton earlier, yes, they are in fact named after the rap group. On the tail of the originals you can see Terminator X, Flava Flav and Chuck D.
