I am currently planning on buying some public enemies(assuming i can get my hands on a pair) I can't decide whether i should get a 169 or a 179. I am 5'8'' and 145 pounds, and almost always ski park(not much else to do on the left coast)and would ideally like to ski around a 173 or so. so what do you think 169 or 179. It seems like a pretty beefy ski so i think a 169 should do it but i am not sure.

169 for you. That is a wider ski than most current park skis. You don't weigh that much. K2 would tell you 169 (or call and ask them). Don't get a bigger ski just 'because'. You will have way more fun on a 169.

Stick with the 169s. At your weight, you'll be much more comfortable on that size of ski. Especially if you ski park most of the time, and if you ski when there is that big dump, it wont be the same, but you'll be ok. Its not as if you're skiing on early 90s salomon equipes with 60mm waists.
