PE size question

I'm looking at getting some public enemys but im not sure on which size to get. I'm about 6ft and 155lbs. Right now i'm riding 178 concepts. Im not sure if the 179 PEs would be a little big, because they are wider than concepts, but the 169 seems kind of short. I ride in michigan so theres not a whole lot to do other than park and rails. I'm hoping to demo a pair and see how each size rides, but i was just wondering which size you think would be a better fit. Thanks

Also, whats the deal with the edges on those? The edges on my concepts cracked and are starting to rip out from sliding rails.

if u ride the 178 now id go with the 179 it wont be that much different, the edges are thicker than ragular skis for grinding purposes and i havnt had a problem with mine at all everybody that ive talked to that has them says there bombproof, mine certainly are

Mine are bombproof too... and yeah, go for the 179 fo sho!

You will be lucky to find sumbudy demoing them, cuz they are so hard to find.

mine wernt bombproof. snapped them in half after 4 times on tehm, but other than the core they were dope ass skis. def get the 170

yea son

did you break them under normal use like rails and jumps or did you do something else to them? Cuz your the first person i've heard of breaking them besides pep who tore out the rear binding on one and then broke it while flexing it or something

i ripped the toe piece on the binding off on a big 3, then the next day snapped them in half on a big 180.

yeah so it sounds like the strucural integrity of the ski had been comprimised. i hope this tearing off bindings isn't going to becom common on the PEs

hows the warrenty process going for you on the PEs? I'm just curious in case I bust mine I know what to expect

i'm 5'8 and have the 169's and if u have been ridin the 179 cons def go w/ the 179's...no doubt..but hey...as long as they're k2..

Sometimes it just takes lots of practice and the will to beat your face in, get back up, and do it again is what it's all about.....
