PE mounting

quick important question..Got (sick) 169 PEs, but ther mounted on the normal setting, and i want to get it re-mounted more foward, cause i have like no tail. The higest marked setting is +3, but its like only 1 inch foward, leaving hardly ne tail, and not really that centered. I really want to mount it foward though, ne suggestions.

 
man i said the same thing when i got mine (exactly like urs) but i decided i didnt want 6 more holes in the skis...plus, it feels really good once u get used to it. my old skis last year were center mount and it was hard but after like a day it was cool. hope that helps.

o yea will my ski really be weaker if i get it re-mounted and just have a good ski shop plug in the holes..O and should i leave the small riser plates in, or get it drilled directly into the ski?

 
u know i thought about the strength too, cuz i want to remount my old pair but idk..if it goes onto the plate then leave it in, i bet it would be helpful

well taht depends on ur skiing...center mount is for park only and switch riding...back a little (normal pe) is for all around. u could go +1 or +2 and give a little more tail. my first time on them i had to lean forward alot but not anymore. its great like it is.

i got +2 on 179...and im in love with them..i kiss them b4 i sleep at night......u think im joking

how do u like the length...? i prolly should have gone with that except the shop only had 159 and 169. i should kiss mine too tho.

well im like 5'9 6' 160 lbs...and ive been to stratton and okemo on em once each..and at first i thought they were too much for me to handle...but now i love em...all depends on how big ya are...and i swear to god on this..these skis gave me balls...i wasnt doin half the shit i am before on my old skis...ur so comfy in the air..the best word to describe them is BEAST

I have 179cm and I mounted mine +4cm its okey but I could have mounted them to +6 or something.. yes Im park ratt..

 
damn thats far up...mine do good in park but i ski everywhere

+4 or +5 is something i would like to go to if i re-mount my ish..How will it effect my carving though? I love to rip nice carves a lot 2, but i also want these skis a lot more centered. thanks..

 
yes i do know that center is for park..um i like to ski. but like..on the PEs (or ne ski) is it alright to measure and mount bindings, even where there are no numbers marked? not a lot of experience with mounting skis.

 
my pe's are fine with carving, even if the bindings are mounted +4 they are still pretty back..

mine are at +3 and i love it. five0 i have the exact same bindings on my PEs too

170 on ebay..getboards.com sold em lsat yr for 280..they said etail was 330..but that sounds like bs

Thanks for the pic five0, but u got 179s dont u. my back bindings only show 3 little swat guys on the stairs, u got like the whole stairs, thats sweet. yea well im on my 169s, i feel that im going with +4. thanks for the input yall

 
+4 for a park rat...+2 or 3 for a good combo of park all mountain..its a lil more aggressive stance

i just got the public enemy's and i have to get them remounted they are mounted way to far back. the fuckin centerline is bullshit
