To anyone thats been to PC in the last couple of weeks...

Whats the park look like for jibs n kickers

-Size?

-Type?

Thanks in advance

^word, king's is pretty much unchanged since they opened it, and i think jonesey's is supposed to be open by this weekend, or at least that's what they are trying for.

It seems like it just shows a single jump but still doesnt show size but on their PC site it says it has around 15 jumps

there's a sick 4 pack in kings, some fun small jumps on pick n shovel, a huge booter at the bottom of kings, and plenty of fun rails n boxes all over the place. overall the park is pretty neat.

its probably bigger than 45 but i dont think its 60, well it doesnt feel that big anyway.

because if thats 60 than the jump they built for jon last year would have to be like 90.

I personally feel it is in a bad spot. It is right at the elbow of the trail (people who ski it knowwhat Im talking about) so the wind usually blows across it taking a good amount of snow off leaving the jump with a hard landing lots of the time. But I haven't hit in in a few days, maybe it is better now.

the landing is still hard as rocks but its nice and steep now. its somewhere between 50 and 60 to the sweetspot im guessing.

I haven't been able to update the park update since things have changed. Yes it was in the 60's. Yes it was a step down. Yes people were casing it and overshooting it. It's been flat light up until a few days ago, and windy. Personal choice to ride park in those conditions. The park will constantly change, with one day already this week and another coming tomorrow. And no we aren't planning on Jonesys for this weekend. Stop starting rumors. When people have asked so far, I say I don't know, as in no set time frame yet. They are still blowing snow. And to the people that are clueless enough to say it's shitty to still be blowing for a park, jumps take a HUGE amount of snow....

Another update sooon.

ha ha ha, sorry, I was just being blunt. I heard a comment while I was raking the other day of "lets see how many people this park kills today." One, the park doesn't kill people. the life flight we had was on an overcast day and he overshot the jump, so think what you want. Two, people kill people, and if you were there the two people that were carted out within a minute of each other were 100% them. caught a front edge after landing the 3rd jump and couldn't really remember anything (but a funny kid in the process) and a kid that wanted to kiss the ball, and did so with the nose of his board. So people making comments like that are ill-informed and make things up in the process to justify their own rumors. Three, i'm just getting tired of the elitest attitude of people I have to deal with in the park. I want to know what people think but I don't want to be yelled at, sworn at, told I'm the fuckup, told i'm a joke, told I don't know shit, told to fuck off, and I don't want to be the person pulling passes for the 30-40 people that decide they have every right to ignore the closed sign and ride wherever they want. But it's not the majority that act that way so the minority just end up making my week draining.

On another note, the Crown is constantly changing. On a side note, the quarters are all placed at areas where everyone gathered in previous years. Natural stopping points that people chose to make. On a different side note, it's my birthday so I don't know why i'm still online answering emails and such. Have a good night and i'll see everyone on the hill tomorrow.

Happy birthday and I feel your doing a sick job. 4 jump line is perfect. Last jump is a little scary but I agree with what you say about flat light days. And sorry about saying that I heard that joneys was going to be up by this weekend, its what I heard from someone at the mountain (a snowboarder) didn't know he was so ill-informed.

the last jump is soooo fun now, it was measured at about 40, though it looks smaller on film. it almost feels bigger when hitting it though, so floaty and nice.

the last last jumps as in the bigger one at the bottom. though the last one in the 4 pack is also very nice and prolly the best in the 4 pack.

no they changed it two days ago, and now it is manufique. and ski patrol measured it today at 40 lip to knuckle, prolly ~45 to the sweet spot. if you haven't seen it yet, you will love it.

Ya Kings is off the hook right now. Thanks Mike for everything you do. People just don't understand..

Mike say it was in a 60s, they measured it last week, and the size had not changed since then to monday. but im not gonna agrue about jump size without sanding on the knoll.

look im being an asshole about the size of a jump. we could both be right because there are many different ways that you could measure size. like from tranny to sweetspot the jump is prolly 60ft so i guess youre right.
