I just looked at their web cams and they are pumpin a ton of snow, so i think they will be able to open pretty soon!!!
 
um... im probly being dumb, but i have gone through my mental database of hills, and am not coming up with what hill PC could possibly stand for
 
Correct and i hope that they do i cant wait any longer and i cant afford a pass to solitude this weekend
 
haha ya im the same way i want to go to solitude but i doubt they will have any jibs set up either so i dont want to spend the money
 
We are currently blowing snow on homerun from the top of payday on the access to the top of town lift, down homerun to the bottom of first time. The fan guns on payday are pumping out more snow now as well. The guns above the superpipe are blowing as well as the guns on first time.

They blew from 3ish am until noon today and started the fan guns at 4pm this afternoon. The snowmaking guys went up in the truck at 430 which means the portable guns should be firing up as we speak.

I was walking back to the resort at 5pm and they had all the fan guns charged and blowing, hence the picture below from my cell phone.

Yes, better than nothing. If the temps drop below 20 tonight and hopefully into the mid to lower teens, we will see a large amount of snow blown. if the temps stay above 20, the guns will be churning all night but won't throw down quite as much snow as it would below 20.
 
I know they puched back the opening date....but s there any chance PC could open this weekend if its cold enough?
 
sorry buddy. Without being able to blow 24 hours a day we're going to be pushing it every possible minute to make the wednesday opening date.
