Second one is fairly pinner just take medium to high speed
Third is sick, super floaty and fairly big, its really easy to go deep so check once or twice
I was sitting from the third to fourth but never felt like I had enough speed to clear it. I kept going to big on the third and losing speed. I saw a coulple guys clear the fourth, it didnt look all that big compared to the third. Ill just hit hit it tommorow.
1st one is pretty short but really lofty, 2nd is fairly mellow, maybe 50 feet long,3rd ones a beast, kicky and long as fuck, and its real hard to clear the last one. It's mad fun tho, theyre built really well
well that's the thing about joneseys, once you get into the middle section of the upper run, it gets really flat, and if you try to fit more stuff in that section you really don't hold the speed for it, as in the fourth at the moment. but the fourth is very nice, smooth.
it would be sick if there was like a roller on the side of the knoll of the 3rd so you could bomb past the 3rd jump and launch the 4th...if that makes any sense. cause if you try to mach past the 3rd you launch over the landing. but that would be a lot of work for something people besides me wouldn't use. cool! they're nice though.
there was lots of pumping that 3rd deck today for the step up... also lots of coasting to the flats in between the jump if you dont pump the deck just so... but that step up is very nice.
When I go for the step up, I bypass the 3rd jump all together. go around the left side. your skis are on the snow the whole time, and you don't have to worry about maching 50 feet off the knuckle of the third into the flats if you misjudge your jump point...
I went into it earlier this week before the chairs were open and went off fourth switch... but my speed was wrong and I knuckled... again. not fun. but ya, the third and fourth get the switch treatment all the time, I just need to take my camera up on the hill again. it's been almost a week.
i was so stoked when i found out what was being set up but then i saw it today and i was not so stoked. i'm just curious of their logic behind where they set up the c wallride and normal wallride...to hit the normal one it seems like you'd have to carve hard to hit it at that awkward angle that it's at right now. and the 2 kink the jump is so far after the beginning of the rail, you can only hit like a foot of the down. gahhhhhh! oh well at least the jumps are still baller, and the jibs after the little jumps are super fun.
i donno what my problem was today. i was doing 9's but today i just couldnt land it. first one landed 810 and caught my edge and did like half a lincoln to my back. then on the next one i went kinda corked and landed on my tips, lost a ski and went straight to my back again... i was having an off day...
