We have a ton of FREE premiers coming up in October and November! We have to charge for this event because we are hosting for PBP as a Triple Threat Tour stop. $8 for club members is pretty reasonable too..
 
Oh yeah, I totally understand with the tour you have to pay for it, just how it works.

While it is kind of moronic to have two clubs with the same purpose, it does have it's advantages. One Love was contemplating raising it's membership price this year because getting a quality tall t printed in smaller quantities is not cheap. But since UFS was charging $10 for membership One Love figured nobody would pay $20 for a membership to their club even in it included a t-shirt, beanie, koozies, sunglasses, and bundles of stickers. I haven't been on campus at all this year because I'm a big boy now, but I would assume UFS was able to drive their prices down ,last year at least, because 4Frnt collaborated on their shirts. I would happily pay an extra $5 to not have a 4Frnt logo on my shirt. And I would happily pay another $5 to have a quality poly-blend shirt that is not a box.

Many people join both clubs, which means more money for premiers and activities from both parties.

Also, if the two clubs joined forces, there would be twice as many people thumbing ass for a free season pass. The ratio of ass thumbing to free passes would be to great leading to angst among the combined board and causing an inevitable split.
 
is there food? or should i bring a slice of pizza to eat with my motherfuckin 40oz. of Old English 800 niggaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
 
I agree with most of this. I also think that having two clubs on campus has really made things better for everyone due to competition. When OneLove was the snowboarding club and UFS was the only skiing club, both clubs would do one or two events a year, make really dumb shirts, and only table 1 or 2 days week.

Now that two clubs with similar purposes exist on campus it has made both clubs perform better. Both clubs have sick shirts (I believe the UFS shirts are poly/cotton actually..and no 4frnt logo this year.. but not sure on that).

Competition keeps prices down. Competition has caused both clubs to table 4 days a week on campus. Competition has caused both clubs to do more than 2 premieres each year. Competition has led to better discounts on gear for members.

Competition is good, I am glad there are two clubs. It just helps promote skiing on campus which is always a good thing.
 
Such a fun premier!!! I ripped my shirt off up on stage and still didn't win skis. It was still beyond rad.
 
I don't get it. I go to a sick move. Spend 10 dollars on raffle tickets and happen to get lucky tonight. Then try to win over a crowd and have some fun and I'm a tool? People like you make me so mad. If other people are having a great time why don't you just let them have fun? Some people are such dicks...
 
Oh and you. After looking at you're profile. The only thing I could think of was If you've even passed the 2nd grade.
