I really can't wait for this.

One of maybe 2-3 guys whose opinion on skiing/ski-culture somehow seems just more important. It's not even he's particularly eloquent or interesting per se, but it's like listening to Jordan or any of the all-time greats talk about their game. They just see shit and play on such a higher level, it's just fascinating to hear these guys. It's crazy the shit he steps to and the degree to which he's willing to put his fear/regard for self aside.

Just out of curiosity, what about the trailer screams videocopilot? I'm not real familiar with adobe/final cut plug-ins and whatnot.

the titles they used are a tutorial on video copilot which is a website with AE tutorials. its a very widely used title that usually people just experiment with.

yeah i'm pretty sure I saw GoPro using it too.
And to the other question. I don't have a problem with it, I've used some of there concepts as a base for small projects i've used before. But man using it on a full scale movie? It's going to get spotted, called out and while it looks good....just is unprofessional IMO. I mean if they had atleast tried to change the coloring, the particles...idk something but they basically ripped the tutorial and put there logos in it and probably re-rendered it and spent 50 minutes on the whole thing while someone else did it for him.
For all we know he could've just downloaded the project files to, considering they're linked under the tutorial.
I'm pretty sure somewhere on there site too it says you can't use the tutorials "look" project for your own re-sale in production. Unless you just use it as a concept on a broader idea to your own look, graphic. Which they didn't they straight up ripped it haha. I'm not calling who made it amateur as the filming looks top notch as does the editing and production, just would be cautious with graphic components that are readily available with a click. And used elsewhere.
Not that I'm a graphics king or anything, I just wouldn't use it on a production that's going to sell, maybe a web edit to show my buddies, but not a full blown movie.
