Paul Mitchel Mount Snow Open?!

If i'm not mistaken, the paul mitchell open is one of the oldest events in freeskiing. I think it's a new thing that they have added mt snow.

ussa/fis is freaking gay. they cut themselves off from so many good competitors. they are like the snobs of skiing. only the rich kids can do out comps. if they got off their high horse and just let anyone compete instead of the whole membership thing, the comps would be waaaay sicker and a lot more legit kids would do em. 
 
Will this event be on versus like the big bear open last year? With no VT Open I would assume this comp would be well attended but I haven't heard much about it. I think the purse is 20 large so that ought to motivate some people. Same weekend as the US Open at Stratton though so it might keep people away.
