Pats v. Chargers

the patriots have no chance when they play the colts at home..... there just unstopable there... so basically the colts are gonna win it all
 
the afc has no chance at this superbowl. Neither the colts/pats are going to get past the bears, i'm not even a bears fan but the bears defense is soo hott right now. They started to slack towards end of season but they are back and ready to knock the saints, take a week off and knock the colts/pats
 
i saw that too, and i deff agree, the pats were trying to shake his hand, tell him it was a good game, n he just was a little bitch about it.

and to republican enemy, the kid was jokin when he said grossman was a reliable qb, because hes not at all. and you said the bears defense is unstopable. the chargers defense was #1 all season in pretty much everything you can have on a defense. look at what the pats did last night. their offense in the second half totally upset the chargers defense. merriman didnt get 1 sack all game and he had the most all year in the nfl. brady only got sacked once i believe. so theres one side of the ball last night...

on the other, the pats defense shut down the #2 offense in the nfl. yeah tomilson got some yards, but look at how they played in the 2nd half. they pretty much dominated the chargers offense.

and then the other part of the game, special teams, again the pats special teams played a huge role in the win yesterday, and yeah u could argue that the chargers screwed up, but only from pressure from the pats. so there you have it, a team that played very well against the number 2 offense in the nfl, played very well on offense against hands down no arguement the #1 defensive team in every category. how can you say they have no chance.

i personally think the saints will make it thru just because i tihnk grossman wil buckle under pressure and the saints will shut them down. the saints offense will get passed the not so great bears defense. then for the colts n pats game...its hard to say, but look at the record, brady vs manning, 7-1 in brady's favor, only loss was earlier this year, where brady threw 4 interceptions n they lost by 7pts. if brady's game is on like the second half yesterday, n their defense shuts down the manning-harrison matchup like they did to the chargers 2nd half yesterday, i think pats have won it. to say who will win the superbowl from there is hard to tell. but itl be pats vs saints, prolly with another pats win in the sb
 
word. he said the pats were being bad winner or something gay cause they celebrated the missed field goal. but the chargers would have done the same thing if the guy had made the field goal. he's so retarded because all the unsportsmanlike conducts were agianst the chargers. then he blamed the pats players celebration on belichick, which is also retarded, because belichick is ridiculously modest and would never tell his team to do any taunting. LT is a little bitch who is just pissed cause the rest of his team blows cock.
 
LT was a bitch, but I can still see why he was pissed. The pats went out and did the chargers dance on midfield, which was kind of mocking them. He thought it was really disrespectful for the pats to do that on their field, so the was pissed. Bill obviously didn't tell them to do that, but he doesn't have a really nice history anyways, so whatever
 
and to reply to things said on the first page. the pats have actually lost in the playoffs....once haha. last year to the broncos, but yes brady is 11-1. payton has only ever beaten brady once, i said that in my last post, he is 1-7.

the no-call against rivers when there was the spike. do you know who hit him? i dont care who you are, small big, tall skinny, when richard seymore comes at you full speed off the line, you are gonna fall back. and when the offensive line knows its a spike, but he doesnt, you are deff gonna fall back because the o-line didnt do anytihng. rivers took 4 steps back n then fell backwards. he was fine, barely touched.

back to the next game...the pats will shutdown manning. in the preview of the game last night, it showed how many mvps they had shut down. it was 4 before last night. now its 5. and if you call manning an mvp since he was maybe last year or the year before, then itl be 6. their game plan changes every game. they run 3 different offense, and when i say different, i mean 3 totally different offenses. you saw the no-huddle quick play against the jets, last night was a little different. they'l bring somthin totally different towards the colts. and like people said, manning buckles under-pressure, brady does better, as you could see coming back from a 14-3 deficite to beat the #1 team in the nfl with the #1 defense in every category, to shut downt he defensive player of the year, and the mvp of the year. sorry but i dont think colts stand a chance. itl be a high scoring game, atleast 24 pts for each team, but the pats will deff win.
 
making fun of other teams dances is something the pats always do, like when the played the eagles in the SB and they did the T.O wing flap thing, that was funny
 
dude u are so wrong the bears defense was crazy good at the beginning of the season yah but they have not been playin well at all of late, even when the pats beat them the d was not as good it had been

but wow the pats yesterday got pretty lucky combined with the usual sick clutch play by brady, hopefully they can not turn the ball over as much and establish the run against the colts and keep manning off the field. GO PATS!!!
 
I wasn't saying that it wasn't the chargers fault, and the dance was definatly funny. But LT took it as disrespectful, and that was my point. And Phil and Evan, you guys are like made for each other
 
exactly, this proves why they should be allowed too. they won the sb against the eagles, underdogs, they can do that. they beat the chargers, again huge comeback win and deff underdogs, i wouldnt have a problem celebrating like that.

i would be kinda pissed if i was the pats tho, and would celebrate like that for this reason. every1 says they are sick of the pats, they win too much, not fun to watch anymore. then why are they always favored against. chargers n pats, oh deff chargers will win...even tho the pats are deffinately the best team this decade, no questions asked with 3 superbowls in 5 years, but they are still so under-rated. pats now play the colts, oh manning will kill them...i dont understand. people argue n say the pats suck really bad, any1 can beat them, but then after they beat a team, its always by luck, always the other teams fault. i will agree that the punt fumble yesterday was the chargers fault, but the interception fumble wasnt. the awareness of troy brown after an interception, where most players would just be pissed at thier QB, for him to turn around and strip the ball like that, shows how hard they work as a team.

for the headbut penalty, for whoever was headbutted to just stand there, take the taunting, and then once he gets headbutted all he did was push the guy back n start to turn around to walk off field, that shit is hard to do. i know if a guy headbutted me on the football field, i would deffinately go after him, but he took it like a man and ended up being rewarded.

part of the win last night was just the chargers fault. but alot of it was coaching and the changes they made for the 2nd half. yeah they had the punt fumble n the headbut. the strip after the interception was totally all troy brown's awareness and skill, and to shut down the offense and run down a defense like that is deff not luck.

im sick of people under-rating brady and the pats. every1 says they blow, even they have 3 sb in 5 years and are close to another one. then people complain about them winning so much. if your gonna complain about them winning, then dont call them a bad team, because obviously you are just envied by their skill as a team. thats one thing that i think separates the pats from almost every other team, they dont have just 1 or 2 star players. they dont send many people to the pro bowl, they dont have the mvp, of #1 ranked player on the team. they rnt introduced into games as individuals, its always as a team, and thats what separates them from the other teams. they bring in new players, rookies and pros, and work them into their team where the players will play well. theres my 3rd long post on this page n i promise i will only post again if some1 disagrees with me
 
Man, the only reason he got in his face and headbutted him was because the guy totally had a late hit that should have been unnecessary roughness. If you look, it wasn't like a headbutt, it was a total "hey bitch, get the fuck out of my face" movement.

Poor chargers, they might have had a chance if they didn't challenge the one call and saved the timeout. Gained another 3 on a run and instead of a 54yarder, may have been closer.

They should have won. Oh well.. strike up another 3 pt victory for the Pats.
 
i wouldnt know i'm a giants fan, never really followed the bears. I'm one of those people who are only speaking from what I saw in yesterdays game and on espn. Atleast I admit that though. I do follow the colts/pats though and I know they cant witstand the bears if they play like they're supposed when it comes to the superbowl.
 
Aren't you guys forgetting last year? The NFL is a soap opera, and the super bowl is rigged for the heartwarming story. So the Saints are going to win.
 
i fucking loved that part. First i was pissed that they were gloating up LT, then i realised pat's were kicking ass on the mvps and i loved every second of it.

I we beat the colts next week, we basicly won the super bowl. The whole NFC is so bad. We beat the best team, the Bears, durring the regular season. Now play them in the post season and the pats will rape them, because everyone knows the pats are a whole diferent team in the playoffs

If anybody but the fuckin patriots (who every sportswriter believes can do no wrong) did that it would have been a huge story all over sportscenter. LT did overreact. the pats were celebrating cause they just one a playoff game that nobdy thought they could win, plus the game was in san diego. the chargers players were talking shit during the week before and during the game. the unsportsmanlike penalties were all agianst the chargers. so when the pats won the game they had a right to celebrate. i highly doubt the pats players were stomping on the chargers logo at midfield, i haven't seen any footage of that, LT was just pissed they lost a game that they should have won. then he blamed belichick, which is completly retarded. so i wouldn't support LT if i were you
 
LT was just acting like a little bitch because he didn't want to accept the fact that his team played like shit. He would have done the same exact thing if his team won an important playoff game because of a missed kick. Looks like your support for lt is gonna have to wait until NEXT season after the Pats win it all.
 
while the chargers, mainly roid head merriman did is cocky shit all week, and then did is queer dance after hitting tom brady (not sacking him), the pats should know they are above all that. I guess they should not have lowered themselves to the chargers. The patriots are the model franchise for the nfl and should have acted like it. But I think this is all over reaction and is insignificant and we should just all move on, who really gives a shit, what should matter is the outcome of the game and the game next week. Oh and am I the only one who is sick of Shawne Merriman in this league?

you honestly think he lied about them dancing on the logo in the middle of the field? what possible reason would he have for making it up? why didn't he flip out when the chargers blew their playoff game against the jets a couple years ago? why hasn't LT acted that way after any other important loss? why did he have nothing but praise for the patriots after spanking them in foxboro last season? he chose this game and this game alone to call out his opponents? somthing doesn't add up.

and the unsportsmanlike penalties have nothing to do with anything. both teams were equally responsible for stupid things after the whistle. san diego was flagged for the majority of them, but that had no bearing on what happened after the game.

I'm a broncos fan, but I respect LT and think he had plenty of reason to react the way he did. PATS BABY. i don't think we should have won it, chargers definitely should have beaten us. but we played better under pressure and got many key plays that the chargers just didn't do as well on. so, i love us.
 
LT overreacted. thats all there is to it. the chargers celebrated every little fucking thing that went their way, mainly that giant douche merriman. the pats were losing most of the game, so when they came back from being 8 points down with like 5 minutes left in the game, they celebrated. they jumped up and down and were extremly happy. i doubt the pats players said to each other, "lets go stomp all over those fuckhead's logo hahahaha". I sure all week LT imagined himself at midfield celebrating a victory and when it dind;t turn out that way he turned into a jealous little baby. It's easy to praise a team that you beat by a ton (last years pats vs. chargers), but you really see what a player is like after he's been beaten.

first off, LT is the best rb in the league and one of the classiest players also, but never, ever say that you are classy, thats just stupid, we all kno you are you dont have to go out and say that. secondly, LT has no place taking a shot a belichick who is one of the classiest coaches in the league and never, ever underestimates an opponent or ever talks trash, and expects the same from his players. the patriots are one of the classiest organizations in pro sports and it starts with belichick. finally, if you are talkin shit all week leading up to a big fight or big game or whatever, and the other guy isnt saying anything and you dont back it up and you lose, what the hell do you expect to happen? the other guy to just say "well played, i respect you" and move on. fuck no, hes gunna shove it right back in you face, its human nature.

also to those people who said the chargers showed class after beating the pats last year, they absolutely did not. sure they didnt celebrate on the field, but its alot easier to be calm after you won a regular season game then in the playoffs and friggin schotenheimer after the game said, "they were a great team but their run is over".
 
ok now to put in another input for stuff after my thread since many people reffered to my posts and mostly agreed.

i will agree LT is one of the best rb in the game. and i will agree he is a very respectful and classy guy(unlike a lot of good players in the nfl-merriman, TO...list goes on). however, do you guys understand what he thought was disrespectul? he mentioned nothing about the dance they did when they won, which was the chargers dance. he said it was disrespectful for the patriot players to run onto the field with their helmets in their hands and to congradulate their kicker and the rest of the players currently on the field. im sorry, but no matter how big of a game im playing, almost all of the time i would celebrate like that, and a game in that magnitude with those odds and being such underdogs according to the "experts"...thats rediculous. he didnt mention once about the dancing they did. only the fact that they ran on the field with their helmets on, which who ever watched the game knows you cant do and results in a penalty which the pats recieved. that was the only complaint that he made and that was his reason for acting how he did...

i think the whole discussion on LT's reaction is now ended since i pretty much proved how he was acting like a little bitch, which is very uncommon of him, but still happened, and we should focus discussions on future games...pats winning the playoffs of coarse...
