Pat's Peak Park Update 12/11/10

thats sick... im surprised chris fell on a cork 7 hes usually really good with those. seems like everyone had fun and threw down though. cant wait to go up on friday/ next week end to hit the set up. i wanna balls up and 3 that jump.(i suck so bad at jumps)
 
Yeah, they've gotten better for sure. Quality wise, I do think that Pats jump matches up to Loon's first real one. I landed my first seven on it, and I'm gonna try 9s and corks next time I'm there. It's a real confidence builder.
 
well i was there the day before the comp, and there is absolutely no way i would say that it is good enough for loon. Unless they changed it, the jump did not have quite enough kick and the landing could be a little longer. It is however a good jump for pats peak, but should have been bigger for a "big air" competition jump. Don't get me wrong im happy pats has a better park now though
 
Yeah, they apparently did some work on it, made it kickier than Friday, according to my friends who are there. I don't agree about the landing, it's pretty much impossible to overshoot, but I do wish the second pair of jumps was a solid 10 feet bigger.
 
Thats good if they gave it more kick then friday, cause if you went to fast the jump would just shoot you past the knuckle, more kick fixed it I bet.
 
Yep. Gavin filmed everything, but he's gonna do more than just splice things together, so it will be a bit before that's up.
 
that park is pretty fun. i dont hit big air though cuz u have to skip top rails and i like the top rails =)
 
at the top rails its butter box. a frame rail or down rail

then u got the 30 foot jump on left and 20? on the right

then a 15 on the left or a 5 on the right for second jump line

a dfd rail

then the hubba with box or rail

and lastly the yellow rail as a hitching post/tap/ bonk/rail thing on top of a quarter pipe
 
i'm broke and have no money for a pass and my parents still havent boughten a seasons pass yet like they said they would sooooo, $150 oakley oil rigs to whoever can buy me a twilight pass tomm (1pm-9pm $48) message me if you want to.
 
buy them for the next year or this year lol? no reason to buy a seasons pass in march with like a month of skiing left. We had seasons passes last year but forgot to turn them in for money of for the next year. Thanks for the help though man.
