its impossible to argue with pats fans. they are convinced the pats have won every game for the past 10 years. the statement that the patriots are greater than the steelers is a statement that changes week to week and year to year. at this point in time, no team can claim to be greater than the steelers.

i hate them both. i also hate people who loudly and obnoxiously claim their team. you didnt help them win. shut up.

shut your mouth. 1st off Boston, isn't a "shit" city. Boston has a lot of history behind it, and I've been there 10 times, and I still enjoy going to it. Also, how exactly does the city serve no purpose? Finally we aren't fair weather fans and don't even go there. I've stuck by the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics my whole life. When the Red Sox lost to the Yankees in the '03 playoffs, I was dissapointed I didn't even consider jumping on the bandwagon of another team. When they won the world series in 04, I couldnt have been more happier. When the Patriots sucked the 1995s-2000s I still stuck by them even though I was a tot for most of that time, I watched all of the games and when they won the 01 superbowl I was stoked. Even when the Celtics sucked, and I still had faith that'd they'd get a good lottery pick. If you came to New England for one day you'd understand. We have a radio station, WEEI, and whenever someone calls in to discuss the latest sports, they ALWAYS are hopeful and even though they complain about certiant things they stick by their team. Boston's a unique city because in places like Houston, and Miami, there's sports teams but they all suck. Boston has sports teams that have been through good and bad, and their fans always stick by them. The Red sox have sold out like 400 straight home games. Even when they weren't in contention for the world series back in 01-02 they still sold out most of their games. Next time think before you post. Go PATS TONIGHT!!!!
 
this is true... but the ball was nowhere near welker and there was more than enough time to stop before laying down a massive hit like that. i used to play so i understand the whole heat of the moment thing and you play to the whistle but fuck.

isnt it Beckett at one followed by Lester (or Dice-K when he is healthy) then Byrd or Wakefield? i know at the very beginning of the season it went Beckett, Matsuzaka, Lester, Wakefield, and then Penny....

i like the Red Sox but dont pay attention to baseball until October.

i hate the patriots because they didn't come to hartford. and i hate boston because everyone in boston thinks their team is the greatest in the world with no respect for any other. ya i hate boston, but i definitely respect people like wes welker, tom brady, paul pierce, beckett. i'll give props where props are due, but i'm a new york fan born and raised
 
4 games up on Texas and then no one else close, so ya we should get in, and wildcard teams have done pretty well in recent history

it doesnt matter how many games you win in a season. it matters if you brought home the superbowl or not.

congrats, your teams 3 superbowls will be over shadowed by that loss for the next 50 years.
