basically from my extensive reading on the subject here is what you need to know.

1. its controversial

2 some people fucking hate it

3. some love it

4. but really its just healthcare for everyone cuz people cant afford it. so instead of our money going to schools for kids who cant read good and want to do other stuff good too it goes to poor people who cant afford it.

5. id say 70% of the people who cant afford it are fucking lazy

6. i dont care about politics or healthcare... i just want a powder day

I am pretty satisfied with this... for now. I still believe that the US should have a health care system that emulates Canada's with a few minor tweaks, but I am especially pleased with the abortion compromise.

And also, for that dude who said, let's insured those fuckin immigrants, you are not the only country, canada does to, but you have two choices! Break a arm, don't pay shit for a cast and radio, OR pay like 5000$ for all those shit when you don't even have a penny in your pocket!...

They kept not-listening to their constituents and used incredible, and by most accounts, unconstitutional, subterfuge to pass this piece of shit. I can't wait to see what happens. She sounds intelligent.

as for all of this, in general. regardless of if you agree or disagree, the fact of the matter is this country is very resilient. people have thought plenty of other things were going to destroy this country when they passed, and look, were still here.

i think well probably all survive.
 
its shitty in canada, my friends dad passed away because he couldnt get to see the medical people in time. he waited 3 days INSIDE the hospital, but the medical people were too busy helping people with small coughs and sore toes, because "hey it's free! lets abuse the system!". i also had to wait 7 hours in the hospital with a broken arm, because people who had runny noses were occupying the staff, hell one of our government officials went to U.S. for a surgery because it was a crazy long wait to get the same procedure in canada/rant
 
I don't know, Pelosi is incredibly unpopular right now. California is in the top 10 of all the states that have donated to the "Fire Pelosi" fund. It's on the GOP homepage. pretty funny.
 
but her district is one of the most liberal places in the country. i just dont see it happening.
